Both the anime and the manga have dragged on a bit to long, it seems like every other episode is either inuyasha fighting seshomaru, sango looking for her brother, or something about naraku

Inuyasha is the most dragged on manga 500 + Chapters.
Pokemon atleast switches the protagonist and the story a little bit.

There I said It!

The only "Popular" anime that didn't run on too damn long was Rurouni Kenshin and even that was pushing it's limits around the fifth time Kenshin had to use the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki on an opponent.
(That's Kenshin's ultimate attack for those who don't know.)

Full Metal Panic! seemed to end at just the right time after the second raid.
Though now It has started going again with the third raid, I hope it doesn't make this list.

detective conan...its so long..i wanna rip my heart out...cant they just get with the main plot, oop, does the story even have a plot anyways?
