I'll watch anything except sports anime, or anything with a triple digit episode count. Although I have a soft spot for ecchi...

Usually willing to give anything a chance, unless it's mecha or ecchi. While I may find myself watching an anime from those genres, it's not something I actively seek.

I don't actively seek mecha series either. Not a huge fan, but some are really good. Ecchi is awesome. The only time ecchi turns me off is when the girls have MASSIVELY unrealistic sized boobs. So stuff like Sekirei is meh, but stuff like Mayo Chiki is great!

When you've seen eiken's MASSIVELY unrealistic sized boobs you wouldn't mind the size of sekerei's boobs LOL

Are the pictures being cut-off for you guys, too?

Edit: I just looked at a bunch of Mayo Chiki pics online, and I think I may watch it again!

Will I would love to say I'd watch anything, I can't.
I've seen enough to be critical of critical failures, and critical of "copy&paste" Romance. If you've seen Clannad, your Romantic comedy bar will be set rather high, and your average showings just won't cut it! They'd need something unique like "My little monster" or "Toradora" It'll be a while before I'm in the mood for a romantic comedy again.

I just finished Highschool DxD too, and I think it's ruined the majority of Ecchi for me. I expected crappy comedy and ecchi scenes, and instead I get Shounen with really freakin amazing Ecchi scenes. I've been looking for a good shounen to stick my teeth into without it being pretentious like everything Studio I.G.'s throwing out recently...not that I.G. isn't throwing out amazing series...I just wanted something a little generic ok? But damn it, Highschool DxD hit that ball strait into outfield, and Season 2 might have just hit a Homerun, we've got 5 or so more episodes to decide if that's the case, but they're rather close!

I miiiight check out Mayo Chiki, but it doesn't stand out to me in any way...but I do love me some crossdressing plot twists.not a big fan of the Gynophobia, this Generic-Blue haired guy is totally generic blue haired guy material. I mean damn it, give me another Ranma 1/2! I'm tired of "pervert who's nice" hooking up with "girl who's shy" At least Highschool DxD makes fun of this!

Lets ignore my over-type typing and get to the point already!

I'm a huge Low-Fantasy fan, and the more nudity, death, relationship, and fighting, the better. Game of Thrones to Berserk. But that doesn't dissuade High-fantasy from my shelf space, Berserk can only take up a few slots. The Slayers, Scrapped Princess, Record of Lodoss War, and Fate/stay Night thrown in because dude, Swords.

Watching Gundam has only increased the appeal of Mecha-shows however.containing everything I like. With the nudity, death, relationships, and hard core fight scenes.

Both have large scale war, large scale war is hard to pull off, but it improves stories immensely!

why of course, back when it started on Adult swim no less, I unfortunately only own the second season, that first one is stupid expensive and it's getting a re-release soon, so can't wait for that.

Gundam has only increased the fun of Code Geass, as now I know EVERYBODY in Code Geass is based off Gundam.

I really like how they took Char and Sayla, and turned them into Lelouch, Kallen, and Nunnally. Because they wanted the little sister protection, they wanted the sexy char, and the red-mech riding badass, BUUUUT they wanted Char and Sayla to be a couple...for some reason. Hence the Kallen X Lelouch!

Oh, I just love comparing them nowadays. Garma and Prince Dies-in-the-first episode being my favorite parallel. The moment Char killed Garma was just, epic, and Code Geass opened with that scene! That said, 14 episodes of introduction not shown. Not that Code Geass required them, it didn't, but the day I watched the first episode I thought I was watching the 4th.

Oh the confusion.

Who's rereleasing Code Geass?

And I know what you mean. Even before Bandai left the US, I paid about $200 for the full set of Code Geass DVDs. Although I did manage to get the art box for season 1, and it's probably the best box set I own.
