I saw the Mabinogi ad today on the front page. It's a fun little point and click. I've played it before, it was my style of runescape.

There's a lot of garbage&generic mmos out there. Vindictus, which was originally called Mabinogi: Heroes, is the prequel to Mabinogi. However, it's a completely different gameplay style (similar to god of war and dark souls).

I know there are a lot out there. Are there any that you play?

I used to play Dragon Ball online

I heard Phantasy Star Online 2 was a cool game. I'll start playing it when the official english version is released.

It's also free to play.

It's not going to happen. The game is almost literally fully translated via english patch so there's no point anyhow. Several sources have made it pretty clear the game is stuck in limbo for the states so it's very unlikely you'll see the game in your country, you may as well just sign up.

Peria Chronicles looks okay but I'm looking more forward to Aura Kingdom (Final Frontier for HK and Taiwan). The combat in Peria Chronicles has me colored a bit skeptical based on the trailers and videos, while the combat in AK/FF is fast paced and pretty fun and action-oriented. Mobs have telegraphed attacks that you dodge and such.

I'm currently playing on the Hong Kong server and it's quite a decent bit of fun. The gameplay is pretty close to Eden Eternal, which is a current running anime-themed MMO that is quite popular. I would definitely appreciate an English or JP server for this game as I could see myself wasting a lot of time on it.

I'm constantly on the look out for anime style games but with more action oriented gameplay. I haven't been successful in finding an anime style Devil May Cry yet

Rusty Hearts? Vindictus? Tera?

Those are the bigger names but there are seriously tons of action-themed combat MMOs available right now.

Blade & Soul has to be one of the most anime influenced RPG I've seen this year, and it's actually really, really good. Better than most free2play MMORPGs out there currently. Sadly it's not out yet in NA, only in Korea and China but there is a private server that you can play on. I'd suggest looking it up on youtube and watching a few gameplay videos to get a grasp on not only how great the game looks, but plays. I know it will be my #1 played RPG as soon as it hits NA.

The last one I played was Eden Eternal and it's actually quite enjoyable. Especially if you either have friends you play with or meet friends there who you can do dungeons with and so forth.

Hmmm i started playing Blade and Soul china server, i would say it is more of a "wuxia" MMO with the influnces anime arts. The artworks looks like they came out from an anime especially the tiny Lyn race that got animal's ears / tails. The loading screen definitely look like they were drawn by anime / manga artist.

I still play Mabinogi Since G2.

Honestly I find most MMOs nowadays are grinders, impossible to really get into without knowing a million people playing already, or they're fine FTP for about a week before progression slows to a crawl and the only weapon that will help you progress is a credit card.

Here's hoping for PSO2 though. I played it on the JP servers right after the original launch - and patching that thing is a pain, even with the fancy translation launcher :/ I keep hearing conflicting rumors about whether or not it's coming west.
