Man, my flash really washes out the pics.

I wish I was rich so I could buy more figures and DVDs/Blurays. I prefer to own over streaming, but it's so expensive.

woaaaah. Here I am complaining about the $60's and $70's of my series.

That said, I can't seem to solidate what I want to collect. I've got a wall of swords, generally 300 on the reals and 40-70 on the fakes, good Bokkens be expensive yah know.

While that Red Saber cost a solid $150, came with an Art book and imported game.

The Berserker Guts was also a solid $100, cuz I got him early, he'd have been $150 if I waited!

Griffith, Sayaka, Rider, and Nagato were the general 70-80 range consistantly.

I've been saving up (I actually fail at this) for the upcoming Convention this weekend, it's going to be a blast with tons of pictures and fun....buuuuttt I've failed and my Gundam Cosplay won't be completed. Instead me and my friend are working overtime every day to complete the Red Lord Canti cosplay, which is almost done might I add! We're applying the paint job tomorrow.

That Zeo-Zord is a really really old toy I've owned for years. UP there because he's among the most unbreakable of my toys, and with how I play with toys, they break. You know when your Toys used to have epic battles with each other? That Zeo-Zord there is the unbreakable guy. His joints are old and squeek, something probably snapped inside. But his arms extend and let's him spin-kick anything that gets in the way!

Man, I need a wall scroll.....two of them. You probably don't see it but above my Desk there is a tilted wall/roof thing. really hard to grab wall space when half your room is covered with Door's, windows, a tilted wall....

But I shall find a way!

I collect PVC and Nendo's only. I'm very picky with PVC now but i tend to buy the most popular Nendo's or Nendo's i find very cute. Non-anime related stuff i collect consist of sports memoribillia (sp?).

I have not really collected much stuff. I like to collect artwork and digital prints. I do not really have the space to do figures or else I would collect them. I have put up a temp gallery of my prints and I do have more I just did not take pictures of so far. Also I have a ton of other stuff such as manga and games, plus other little misc stuff.

You might have to add me as a friend to see them.

With a con coming this weekend, i'm extremely psyched to try and find what I've been looking for

ONE DAY I shall have a Gendo-Pose PVC, no mater the cost. Same goes for a school-uniform Shinji Ikari.

And if I'm very lucky, I'll find them at a reasonable price, I'm on a budget this year.

I'm also planning to get a wall scroll for once, my room is looking like it needs one, the best I got for decoration being a Sword Rack filled with swords and a large square hole in the wall from when I threw someone through it, long story.

Anybody have any cool wall scrolls?

I got that wall scroll at a anime convention for about 7 dollars. It was at anime central if I remember correctly.

Speaking of conventions, where have you all been?

I live in Kansas City, and I attend Motaku and Naka-kon every year. Motaku is small, and Naka-kon is big. I've considered some light traveling to Witchita or Omaha to see other conventions, but Naka-kon is the biggest around until you get to Chicago or Denver.

I've been at the Texas based Anime-fest and A-con

I've been to several Anime-fest, but before they moved locations the convention has been small. The "no weapons or sexy cosplay" rules. But the Hotel was always a very very busy place, and they managed to hide the entire con from the general public there.

But then you have A-con, which somehow jump up absurdly in attendance. Last June's A-con was fantastically large.

Been to Otakon a few times. Missed out this year though, pretty upset I had to miss the Oreimo premier, but that's all in the past now.

I've had some curiosity towards the VERY large cons, but small cons means it's easier to get autographs. Naka-kon is reasonably large, but not so big that it's unmanageable. I can see and do everything I need without too much trouble. What was Otakon like?

I just spent a little while looking up possibly false numbers on anime conventions. According to a website my High School Teachers told me to never use(Wikipedia) Naka-Kon had a general 4600 or so con-goers back in 2011, so I'd asume anywhere between 5-7 Thousand goers, unless it had a HUGE jump recently, which it might have.

For animefest I had to rely on a website my Junior-high teachers told me to never use(Google) to get this information. Anime fest is full of monkeys, and therefore fails to count their numbers every year. So I'll video the front doors to Anime Fest for you and count out as best I can, I'd suspect 5-7 thousand, but last year they moved to a larger place... taking over Sheraton in place of A-con, which moved up to the Anitole (HOLY FREAKIN SHIT THE ANATOLE....I got stories man) So I'd expect about 6 to 10 thousand, big gap sure but, bigger place more room right?

Then I'll go by the wiki AND my experience last A-con and say while 2012 has a recorded 21k, I know for a partial fact that the second day of A-con this year had 25 thousand people in the cosplay area. It was just Jam-freaking packed! That's not including the later days in which more people tended to show up. It's a shame A-con is only 3 days compared to A-fest's 4.

So, I know they're not the largest con's around, but I'm sure A-con is in the top 10 in Anime-convention size....that Anatole was just...huuuge.

We had to walk 20 minutes forward in a straight line to find the convention. That's a long time if you ask me. Just to see this convention! Thats how deep it was, over in the oversized back side of the hotel.
