Couldn't agree more.

Also, The Darren Shan Saga! I'll never forgive them.

I've read the hobbit 3 times easy. Sure the films strays but I still found it enjoyable, and I'm sure the second one will be too. As for me my vote is goes to Eragon.

I think the 3rd Harry Potter movie is actually when it went downhill... They left out or changed so many parts and Harry was out of character so much. Yes, he was upset but he wouldn't yell like that. And stealing a lollipop from Neville? Come on he'd never do that. PoA lowered the standards so much that each movie after that was better than it...

Worst to best of the Harry Potter series:
Prisoner of Azkaban
Half Blood Prince
Goblet of Fire.
Deathly Hallows part 1
Deathly Hallows part 2
Philosopher's/Sorcerer's stone
Chamber of Secrets
(No complaints at all about the lsat two movies on this list actually)

The film adaptation of Ella Enchanted made me want to cry. That was one of my favorite books as a preteen.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The novel was extremely twisted but it had one of the best plots I have ever read. The pace of the story was beautiful and the characters were each relate-able in his or her own way.

The movie skipped 70% of the book and completely changed the ending of the story. It left the viewers confused and thinking 'Wtf did I just watch". It did the novel NO justice at all.

Inkheart wasn't a terrible movie, but some of the actors could've been picked better. It was kind of simplistic, compared to the book, and left some things out. The book's plot was unique, but the movie didn't do very much with it and it was kind of generic...

Percy Jackson, it's alright if you've never read the series, but if you have it's immensely disappointing. I understand movie adaptations have to cut/change some things but the movie took waaaay too many liberties, they even got rid of the MAIN ANTAGONIST.

I hate how they basically combined Annabeth and Clarisse too. And now for the second one it looks like they just slapped Clarisse in and are just pretending she was there all along.

Are you talking about Cirque Du Freak ( The circus vampire books?) I Feel your pain The movie ran through Like the first 5 books in like 30minutes and skipped ALL the important parts. Not to mention when I read the book I sorta saw everything darker, grimy, sorta like Lemony Snickets...... I dunno what i'm going on about.

Hmm, damn near ALL of the Stephen King book to movie/tv series are terrible. The worst offender by far was IT though.

GOD DAMN IT SO MUCH THIS!

I refuse to watch the other 2 because of it. There was no reason to bloat a 300 page book into three 2-3 hour movies. Yeah all teh stuff they added was lore related, but it was completely unnecessary. I went to see The Hobbit, not

Yeah, that's the one I mean. It's not only that, they also made it into a comedy film and the books aren't funny at all . The worst part of it is that Darren Shan himself approved everything (not to mention the fact that it was delayed a year or so because "he wasn't happy" with the result).

Exactly! The books are so much better. /foreverhurt

The Hunger Games

Just a badly directed movie altogether

In fact the only reason I kept through to the end was because of Seneca Crane's glorious beard

I mean just LOOK AT IT!
