I don't dress like an anime watcher(fan), I don't actually think there is a way to dress like an anime fan. There's not really a clique of anime fans that dress a certain way, that I know of anyway. Certainly would like to dress uniquely though. if there was an anime fan way to dress I would wear that fashion.

Well, what about shirts and other accessories with references? Lol. I mean, I don't think there's a certain way to dress, but if I meet somebody with a FLCL shirt on, I'm giving that person a high-five!

Yeah I see, I ask bronies I see for a brohoof when I see one

Nope. I have a couple shirts I'll wear every once in a while if the mood strikes but I dress more surfer or professional for my job.

I will acknowledge others if I see them wearing stuff though, most anime ppl are just hella surprised when strangers know what they're shirt is

I don't like having to go out of my way for anime-themed clothing, so I can't say that I dress like an Otaku.

When I go out or go off to school I'll usually have a button up shirt w/ an anime shirt under it , guess I look like an otaku sometimes. Even more when I'm wearing something like that and reading manga on a bench.

I don't. I only wear plain solid-colored clothing. I do wear open dress shirts over t-shirts most of the time, which is pretty much the 'nerdy student' look, but I don't wear anything that points specifically to anime/manga culture.

I don't think I do. I did own a Cowboy Bebop shirt when I was in high school but that is long gone. I also have a purple t-shirt with an artist's interpretation of the shiva materia from FF7, but I don't think anyone would know that if they looked at it. I mostly just wear an assortment of men's and women's jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets. Most just have a variety of patterns or solid colors.

I guess one of my bags has a Zelda logo on it if that counts.

Nope I'm a closet otaku m(._.)m if I didn't go to anime club and you've never listened to me talk to friends, open my laptop, or go through that one drawer of anime shirts I only wear at home, no one would ever know. I do have a nintendo messanger bag full covered in buttons but that might be the only hint >>;

Nope. I would like to be an otaku just not to the extremes that most people think of. Maybe a poster or a few figures but im not about to go out with an entire outfit dedicated to a certain anime or two.

Hmm.. well, when I'm not cosplaying, I suppose there's a chance you'd see me in a con shirt - I've got several, though some of my favorites are starting to show wear and tear. May have to retire them soon.

One time I was wearing an Otakon shirt to the store - the cashier gave me a funny look and asked "Er, do you know what an otaku is?" Kind of surprised me that they did, too...

Nope. Infact, as passionate about anime as I am, I don't have a single piece of anime merchandise. I plan on getting a costume and going to a convention to cosplay one day though...one day.
