I'm trying to figure out if there is a way that I can always start my anime with Standard Definition? When I go to the next episode of a anime, it always goes to the highest definition. I want it to stay on SD. Do you guys know if there is a way to change it so it does that?

The default video quality can be changed by going to the Settings page, and clicking on the "Video Preferences" link.

Interesting, I have it set to SD and it still tries to play at 1080 every time I start a video. Its frustrating because it causes laggy performance. Does this happen to anyone else?

The setting only affects the website playback. It should normally stick for all videos on the website though.

Sometimes changing the video setting will not take, but the system thinks it is already changed, and thus clicking it again has no effect. A fix for this is to change it to something else (i.e., 480p or 720p in your case) and the back to the desired setting.
