A 6 years old boy from China was kidnapped and had his eyeballs gouged out, he was found 4 hours later and the eyeballs were lying on the ground without any corneas.

This is a very shocking news for me, I thought organ traffickers only go for the kidney, I never knew they would gouge somebody's eyes out for the cornea.

Well, that's awful. He is now blind, probably for life. How much does a cornea go for in the market? More than an innocent child's vision for the rest of his life? No.

Remember it's nothing personal... just business.

But being serous it's not just the organ traffickers, it is those who buy them that are the real issue. If someone wants something, someone probably sells it.

That's horrible. I can't fathom how anyone could harm an innocent person like that. Specially a child.

My gosh, that is so horrible. That poor boy.

May those people burn.

There was a story a few years ago where a teenage boy in China traded his Kidney for an iPhone and iPad. For having a large population, they have very few organ donations.

Unfortunate, but not unexpected.

I have seen and heard of far to many brutal things from China to ever really be shocked at anything regarding cruelty in their country.

Though I will say that this is nothing short of sad and tragic, to deliberately rob an child of his sight in such an brutal way is a low beyond my comprehension.

This is so unbelievably stupid. They could have made a bigger buck if they had just kept the whole eye

Not really surprising considering their "job" is to steal peoples organs. Also, it's China.
It's like saying you're surprised a murderer would brutally kill someone.

Considering some of the stories and stuff a friend of mine shared from her life in China, almost nothing surprises me.

It's because it's the first time I've ever heard of something like this... not that I live in a shelled world or anything.

The First time I heard about that father locking his daughter in his basement and having 3 or 4 children with her and raping her, I was shocked too.
The first time I heard about that Ariel Castro guy, I was shocked...

It's not because there isn't any crime crueler, it's because the case is something I've never heard of. Killing is pretty much common knowledge since I was 5.

This isn't that shocking, but it is sad. I hope stem cell research might fix the problem.
