Unfinished Anime
Posted 6/22/07
All right people, do YOU think you could make anime and manga? Since most you say it "sucked" I like to see ANYONE of you try as hard any one animator or manga writer. It isn't as fun and easy as you think it is, a lot of times its very stressful and exhusting for authors to stay up for hours on end. Actually learn what it means to make anime and manga before you judge them.

This reminds of when I took a class way back when and this one argoant guy said he could complete the work within one week, it was so "easy". What actually happened is, he didn't finish the work and dropped out of the class. He was all talk and no action what so ever. If you saw it "sucked" lets see YOU do what they do on a daily basis.

i think flame of recca got cancelled or some shit, or starting getting low on budget, it got released same year as yuyu hakusho right by the same studio, maybe they just decided to go full force on yuyu hakusho instead of recca

u have a point sousuke, but it doesnt change the fact that its still unifinished and animators should know when they do a bad job

^ funds? What are you talking about? Funds refer to money that comes from sponsors or outside sources. Funds would depend on the show that is being sponsored, so technically, yes, a show that is aired on TOKYO TV or NHK or whatever network can lose its funds if the sponsors lose interest in supporting it. Of course the TV station does not lose funds. Get your terms straight.

If you mean revenues or money in general, of course TV networks lose money, but perhaps not big enough in our perspective to think it means anything to them. That's because TV networks are more concerned with growth rates and percents rather than simple marginal losses. You're talking about stock prices and company share indices. Come one, companies are more than just profit ~ it's not like all they do is reap money and count the profits. Companies take into consideration asset management, human resources management and all other aspects besides money.

This all contribues to the total stock value of the company. So if a show does poorly and begins to pull out viewers and thus pull out investors/sponsors, which can in turn affect their stock value ~ yes, they pull out. It's not about the amount of money that is actually lost, but the money that could and may be lost.

Get your ideas straight before you mindlessly ramble again.

Thank god there is someone here that knows what I am talking about/ and what point I am trying to say. It gives me a headache when people complain, they don't know the half of it.

Limited32: PLEASE read Edsamc post, unfinished anime do not suck. Even authors are people, they'll finish when they do.

Well, I think I understand what you mean when you say unfinished anime sucks... it's true, because it's like they have you on a thread and just yank it out when you least expect it. Unfortunately, however, we can't blame the people who create the anime because sometimes, as much as they'd like to finish their story (who wouldn't?), the can't because of some limitations.

That's just the way it is.

whole heartedly agrees with sousuke2007!! stop your bitching about unfinished anime!! do you have the skills to finish it? the anime on crunchyroll is FREE sub.what does that mean to you? to me FREE means that the people subbing the anime are doing this on thier own time. you should be greatfull for it. if you bought it in a store you would probably spend about $16.00 an ep! once again what does FREE mean to you.
oh yeah just remembered most of the animes have over 10 eps. so do the math

um, i think the people in here who are complaining are complaining about the actual anime being unfinished.... not the fansubs....

Thank you for supporting me. I personally would like to thank all the people who take their time out their day just to upload anime for some people. Some always want the next episode, others are just greatful for the episode they are just watching. Like Naruto Shippuden, every time I watch the most current episode, all I hear is "hurry up and upload the next, this is taking too long, next episode!"

You know, if an anime series is too slow for you, you can always read a book or get a job, that should be faster for you. Anime episodes come when they come, constantly wanting a new episode before being greatful isn't nice.

Not every anime makes a second season, much less a complete season. My motto: be greatful for what you get, because its ALWAYS better than nothing, even if its very minimal.
