Do you actually read what other people post?

I surf these forums on my off time, and I try to read as much as possible.

And as any forums there are a few patterns:

-Single input
-Multi-quote combos!
-Arguments (usually involving the previous)

The first seems to be the most common here, but I could be wrong!

Input in this thread is welcome.

Edit:
The first option of reading "every post" only refers to what is humanly possible. I don't expect anyone to read 3500 pages.

So if you read about 10+ PAGES of a thread, then I you can qualify to put "every post".

Usually, I read everything on the first page, then everything on the last page, then reply if I have anything relevant to say.

If the threads gets to be 10+ pages long, I usually skim.

Yea, some of the threads do get very long.

Sometimes i'll track really far back because of an argument, but multi-quotes usually save me that trouble.

Of course, there are some threads that are worth going through all 3500+ pages to read each and every... post...

I'll go ahead and throw in a disclaimer: If it's humanly plausible. On a thread a while back, I read about 10 pages of posts.

I usually skim through them. If I read something interesting I'll respond, otherwise I just give my two cents and I'm out.

I read the OP's post usually and give somewhat of an input.

Most of the threads just seem to be full of keyboard warriors writing senseless essay "arguments" to each other anyways.

I'll usually read the first page of posts and the last page. Sometimes if the topic is really interesting I'll read a whole bunch of posts

It's just like Google, if it's not on the front page it doesn't exist.

I wont if, its long, in a different color, all caps, buried in the middle of a long thread.
I will if, its front page, or one of the last few

I'll read the first few to get to know what the topic is about, the last few to see what others are saying. Then if I have something to say, I'll add my reply

If the topic is interesting with few responses, then I'll read most of them. Usually though I'll read through the first few posts and the last few, sometimes skimming the middle in case there's something interesting.
