[UPDATE] Episodes 1&2 of Love Lab are now also available to both Premium and Free users! We will be releasing the back catalog 2 episodes at a time each week at the same time as new episodes, 11:25am on Fridays.

Hey everyone,

We've got a slew of new titles coming your way on Crunchyroll! First off, for those of you that have been paying attention on the site, Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl is now available for viewing! All episodes are now available for Premium members, and will be released 4 episodes at a time every Monday at 3:00pm PDT for free members, with episodes 1-5 available now.

Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl is available to Crunchyroll audiences in the following territories: US and Canada.

Jiyu Nanohana is an ordinary schoolgirl until she runs across a scatterbrained 300 year old samurai who tells her that she is the reincarnation of Yagyu Jubei. With the help of the "Lovely Eyepatch" she transforms into the legendary swordsman whenever she needs to use his awesome fighting ability, which she needs to do quite often as a rival clan is dead set on conquering Yagyu to satisfy an old family grudge.

Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden: Träumend are available to Crunchyroll audiences in the following territories: US and Canada.

Remember those nightmares you had as a child, where your toys came to life? That's the reality that Jun Sakurada suddenly finds himself living in when Shinku arrives in a box. She's the first of several magical Rozen Maidens to invade the secluded life he has made for himself since refusing to attend school anymore and living the life of a hermit. Worse, he finds himself magically bound to Shinku, his life force powering hers, and she's not too crazy about the way he's been living his life.

Fujisaki Girls Academy is attended by young ladies from old and honorable families. Maki Natsuo, admired by other students and with a cool and calm manner, is the academy's student council president. However, unbeknownst to the other students, her heart is overflowing with curiosity and passion for romantic relationships. One day, the tomboy Kurahashi Riko walks in on Natsuno while she is practicing kissing with a body pillow. Having witnessed Natsuo's secret, Riko is recruited to assist her in her Love Lab, Natsuo's study of romance.

Published in Japan as Miyahara Ruri's four panel manga, Love Lab is animated by the studio that brought you GJ CLUB and YuriYuri. The cast features Numakura Manami as Kurahashi Riko, who played THE IDOLM@STER’s Ganaha Hibiki, Akasaki Chinatsu as Maki Natsuo, who voiced Oribe Yasuna from Kill Me Baby, Minase Inori as Tanahashi Suzune, who played Gure-chan from Robot Girls Z, Sakura Ayane as Enomoto Yuiko, known for her performance as Isshiki Akane in Vividred Operation, and newcomer and game cast member Taichi Yo as Mizushima Sayori.

Why is season 1 & 2 of Rozen Maiden only available in USA and Canada while season 3 is available in USA, Canada, South Africa, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark?

Great regions for Love Lab.

Thanks Media Blasters for Jubei-chan(nice to get a 90s anime here on CR). And thanks to Sentai Filmworks for Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden Traumend. Both of those are already in my queue.

Short answer: different publishers. Zuruckspulen is directly from TBS while the first two Rozen Maiden anime are from Sentai Filmworks which only has the rights to U.S and Canada. (If those in the UK wanted it, they'd have to get MVM to let CR stream there).

Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl is excellent. Nice addition. Second season of Jubei-chan is awesome as well. Some of the best animated fights.

For the same reason that Jubei-chan is USA and Canada only: It was provided by a U.S. based video distributor that only had the rights for those two countries.

Yay! More Ali Project! I've had Rozen Maiden on my watch list ever since I've heard all of the OPs and EDs so I'm glad Crunchyroll has the first two seasons. There is also a special that takes place during Traumend called Ouverture which is like a prequel, only 2 episodes.
