Three reasons why I say no. 1. They'd make more than I make (that's just sad since I work in the legal profession). 2. Fast Food prices would have to rise in order to pay the prices or people's hours would be cut, defeating the purpose of raising the wages. 3. Fast food isn't exactly a hard job and I think more difficult jobs (either physically or mentally) should pay more and Fast Food isn't meant to be a "career" job--it's supposed to be a "first job" that you move on from.

For starters, the $15 goal thing is probably so they can haggle to say $10 or something. Higher wages will help the workers but it will screw everyone else over. If you have to pay higher wages, then where will you make up that extra money? You'll start charging more for the food. If you charge more for the food, less people will come, meaning you'll not need as many workers. Everyone will get screwed over by this, so I say no. I mean to the $15 part at least, if they can bring it down to $9 or $10 and make everyone happy then it won't effect it as much, but it still will higher the food price.

I would support it if I also got an equate raise. I'm sorry but if all they want to do is try and erase the gap between their job and my job all they've done is essentialy demote me. Also I'm not paying $10 for a Mcdonalds salad after they increase all their prices due to wage increases.

That's way too much money just for working at a fast food restaurant. If that were to happen,I would give myself the biggest facepalm in my life. Not to mention there will have to be a rise in food prices to pay for these ridiculously high wages.Goodbye dollar menue...hello $6 chicken nuggets

I'm a socialist so of course I'd say yes and to the people who are complaining about it please do remember gamers are making way more than EMTs and firefighters.

It is their job to work minnium wage. They agreed to the terms and the customers shouldn't have to pay more. If they want more money get a different job and go to college. Getting paid 7.50 an hour is part of working at a fast food joint.

That is $14.80 in American dollars, but in Australia you don't tip in restaurants, which in the hospitality trade in America is a much larger portion of your pay, depending on the restaurant. I would be in favor of raising the wages of hospitality workers if we could do away with tips. Just pay the employee what their worth and forget paying tips all together.

Hopefully more people would choose to eat healthily. £1 a burger is an alright price - I could pay more. I still have gregs for cheap lunch. Either way, I only spend about £20 a month on food right now so I'm not loosing out. Making your own food is cheap, healthy and fun to do. It should be more common and fast food should be a treat.

15 dollars is way too much for a fast food wage.
There is talk of of Raising minimum wage of Los Angeles and All of CA to 10 per Hour.
Which will raise price of and inflate everything. (Worst case senario imagine a loaf of bread for 25 dollars)

What need to happen is the Federal Reserve (A private corporation not government institution)
need to stop printing money like paper.
Then the original value of the dollar will return

Sh*t we already have enough Millionaires (3,000) and Billionaires (400) in the US
We are all in this system together. Don't rock the boat...
