Is there a way to queue a manga series so we know when new chapters come out?

Suggestions:
1. Add hybrid memberships. I have no interest in Kdrama, but I'm currently an Anime member, and I would gladly pay for an Anime/Manga Membership that cost about $10/month or slightly more than the longer term anime membership costs. Maybe we'll see something on the Black Friday deals.
2. I know this is due to licensing restrictions, but if you could get at least some of the manga volumes that are available in English uploaded on the site, that would be fantastic. For example, I'm curious about some of the titles you carry that I don't read. I would love to be able to read, say, the first volume on Crunchyroll to get a feel for the series and decide if I want to go to the store and buy the rest to catch up with the simulpub chapters. Also, while I know Kodansha USA is trying to catch Attack on Titan up to the Japanese releases by releasing a volume monthly, there is presently a large gap in what's available legally to read between the latest published English volume and the earliest chapter available on Crunchyroll. This gap will be filled when Kodansha catches up, but what about other series that aren't getting accelerated releases? Does the restriction on chapters published in tankobon appearing here apply to the Japanese release or just English release? You've got a good thing going, but it's got some big holes in it.

I agree with the first point.

But the second one is inevitable. It's not up to CR but the publishers. Just give support to this new membership so that money can go to the japanese so they know this is worth it.

Just a reminder that while these are lovely ideas to share here among ourselves, if you want to be sure that the CR people who may actually be able to do something about them see your suggestions, you should post in the Suggestions / Feedback forum in the Help section. You may start a new thread there, or add to an existing post that's for the same thing you are requesting.

Likewise (this is mostly directed at other users who are not quoted above), if you have questions about the manga offered (e.g. to verify if something is intentionally missing, or an oversight, or will be coming soon) or you are having problems using the manga reader, you should post in the Site Support / Minor Question forum (after browsing there to see if it's already been answered).

ETA: There is now a Manga Support forum in the Help section.

2 isn't happening. We aren't getting anything Kodansha has released in a book/ebook. I'd imagine anything that we do have will be taken down once it get's an official release.

Two things should be kept in mind:

Per site news announcement:

We are still in the process of adding more chapters to the existing lineup of manga titles.

From the CR News article.

... if a physical copy or e-book is available for sale, that series might not be available on Crunchyroll Manga.
[emphasis mine]

Please note the word is "might." This suggests to me that while some manga in this situation most likely won't be available (at least not soon), that some manga in that situation of already having an eBook or print version in English could still be(come) available on Crunchy.

I'm happy they did. I hope this puts an end to illegal scanilation some point in the far, far, future.

I know the group that was scanlating Wagatsuma has said they're abandoning the series.

Until CR gets a lot larger library of Manga I have no plans on upgrading to an All-Access Member its current selection is really poor.

Yeah I think I read somewhere that CR is supposed to have around 50 or so by next summer. xD So it should be growing steadily. I just wonder which other publishers will (hopefully) jump on board.

Kinda sucks, I'd like to use the service but I can't really justify spending that much on it.
