Do you support it? If so, why? If not, why?

I personally think it is silly and foolish. The US has wasted vast amounts of resources and poured forth fruitless effort in the last decades on skirmishes beyond its boundaries. The US government is slowly revealing its ugliest and darkest motives as it continues to show more and more contempt for human rights, both of other countries' citizens as well as its own. The government is acting in increasingly unconstitutional ways and displays blatant disregard for the freedom and liberty it claims to uphold.

Presently, the US can't afford to waste more resources leaping into another half-a**ed hostile confrontation with a 'threat' that poses no immediate, direct, or significant risk to the homeland. The majority of people, including veterans and soldiers, are all saying NO.

Hi there. There are actually already two threads on this subject--one was in the Tourism/International/Culture Forum though, so it's no surprise you didn't see it. I've just moved it to Extended Discussion since that's typically where this kind of discussion takes place. Please feel free to post a reply that that existing thread.

There's a related poll in the Poll Forums as well. This is perhaps closer to the discussion you intended.
