Everyone on Crunchyroll's anime forums,

and the stories that go along with them. Now there are plenty on of great ones, but which story told it best? It doesn't matter on what kind of relationship it is, because love haves no boundary!

Twilight.

But seriously, I'm not one much for Romance myself, I prefer it as a condiment to action or adventure rather than as a main dish on its own. However, I think probably my favorite romance would have to be in Busou Renkin. Slow building but deep. Sorry, events and actions move me, not hormones.

Toradora is the best I've seen.

Of course, I haven't seen all of Clannad, and I haven't started Anohana, and I've hardly seen any shoujo anime, so I hope there's one better.

But Toradora was kind of amazing.

Dat Wind...
Well i don't about the greatest but i actually really liked Sukitte Ii na yo. Sure it was dry at times and Mei was really timid and Yamada was kinda odd but it showed pretty good realism at times and really showed the ups and downs of a couple who was new at love.

Toradora this, Toradora that... it's really not that good in terms of a love story. Still a great anime tho

I think I'd have to give it to Toradora. Even though Kimi ni Todoke is without doubt my all time favorite romance series, I believe that Toradora made for a better story.

However, I'd like to give an honorable mention to Ef: A Tale of Memories.

And two more sub-honorable mentions to Sankarea and Fractale. I refuse to give any mentions to harems other than Toradora (if you consider it a harem).

Say I love you was pretty good.
I also enjoyed My little monster too, I loved how open they were about their feelings made the story progress at a faster than most romance anime
. Toradora is a great one too such a good together show.
Anohana wasnt all that great to me to be honest. I would've liked to see more development of the relationship between Jin-tan and Menma.

Im watching Clannad at the moment so I hope its as good as every says it is.

But Yeah My Little Monster is probably my favorite romance anime.

Stole my sarcastic answer.

Man, I haven't seen Toradora, but all the people talking about it makes me think I should give it a try.

Toradora's up there, as are Clannad and Ano Natsu de Matteru. I'm also a fan of Oreimo, though I know it doesn't have the best of reputations, and Gosick, while love isn't the primary focus of the anime, does a really good job with its romantic content.

I don't consider AnoHana a love story. It's about friendship and loss more so than love, and that's the way it should be.

Props to The Pet Girl of Sakurasou. It was a tough call, but this one takes second for me.

First place goes to Kokoro Connect. The main subject matter of this anime is the relationships between the characters involved, and it shows.
