Who out there has this game Final Fantasy XII. Just convo about it. Its a preaty intresting game. They did a really good job in this one with cinmatic movies mixing in with the game play. Changed fytleing styel from diffrent ff. Also added this feature to make it easyer to control the chacters in this fighting style. What are you thoughts and maybe tips if you stuck at certin spots.

There is a topic on this already, it had only six replies. I think that the battle system is good, I honestly like it. Yes, it was awkward at first but I am past that. I am not really far in the game. Though from where I am at I like it so far.

Yeah. My measly little thread (http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=659).... haha :D

Anyways, Since my last post I've already beaten Dreadnaught and the Raithwall Tomb (the demon walls were pretty hard!!) and right now I'm just leveling up and licensing.

I wonder... has anyone fought the dragon yet? I'd like to know how high it's level/hp is.

I agree that it's different in a good way. I was afraid that the gambit system and the whole ADB thing would be too complicated, but I suppose I really should have had more faith in Squaresoft. The thing that surprised me the most when I got into it was how much more I use magic than in previous Final Fantasy games. Also, having the espers you summon follow you around the field was quite a shock (but quite awesome).
My only major complaint is that the quickenings are all EXACTLY THE SAME, at least as far as I can tell. It's kind of cool for them to have different names based on the character, but since they all do non-elemental damage, giving them names like "Fulminating Darkness" just seems kind of silly.

I am on my way to the Tomb, I think it takes me longer to get any where because I take time leveling up my charcters so that they are all at the same level. I never know when/ if I could lose one due to the story.

Even though they are no longer a guest and officially a party member you know it's going to happen because it usually does. So if one or more of your main party members leaves you have to pick another member to take their place. If you don't level them up then you be stuck with a character who is weak with low hp. Who ends up dieing all the time.

I was introduced to FF7 by friends and that is the only Final Fantasy game they have played or will ever play.

I might give the others a try. I wonder which first..

Yes it is Square Enix now. The merged with Enix, makers of the Star Ocean series.

I haven't had much time to play FFXII, but what little I've been playing I'm enjoying it alot. The battle system is very different. I like the lack of micro managing as well as the lack of random battles, but I kinda miss the old cookie cutter tun based ATB system. Everything else in the game is great. I'm about ready to call it best FF since VII, but I've got a ways to go still.

Make sure to buy the argyle armlet from the shop outside the tomb before fighting the two walls :x (if you haven't fought them already; it'll help alot)
