I haven't watched the first season of Psycho-Pass, so this is my question: Should I watch the regular version or the new edit? I want to finish it before season 2 begins.

After watching the Edit version, I came up with an interesting theory. What if Kogami is the new villain? New inspector makes this look like it's focused on Ginoza having a harem (but unlikely)

Watch the new one. You get to skip one OP and one ED per "pair" of shows, since each is two together in a 45 minute block, and you get a small amount of added footage that fills out one of the characters a little bit.

So I just fimished the Edit version and this still one of my favorites!

BTW S2 should be good because the Sibyl System is flawed in so many ways!!

Akane wiil be interesting

I will miss Tomomi Mazaoka and Shuusei Kagari

Will Kogami be back?

BTW the Newbie Mika Shimotsuki I totally forgot about her!

This is a question I've been wondering about too. We'll see soon though. Also, I think someone pointed out before on a news section that the voice actor for Makishima Shougo is the same as this character:

Strange huh?

I had no idea a second season is in the works. I thought the original Psycho-Pass was just perfect. The ending is somewhat depressing, but Akane just accepts her role in the grand scheme of things and decides that her best option is just to accept things as they are and continue her path, seemingly trying to minimize any unnecessary damage. I almost don't want a second season. Of course I'm going to watch everything Psycho-Pass-related, but the expectations are so high it'd be hard not to disappoint. I'd compare it to the ending of Trigun. Of course I'd like to see the story continue, but the way they ended it is so perfect that a continuation could possibly even damage the quality of the original story. That's not to say I'm not excited for a second season. Just saying, the stakes are high.

I'm going in with low expectations, even if I love the first season. That way I won't be disappointed.

Hah yeah, I'm approaching it with a similar tactic. As far as I'm concerned, the ending IS the ending, but if season two offers something valuable then I'll just enjoy it. And if it's terrible, well, I'll try to not let it affect my love for the first season.
