Are they still having the Sailor Moon remake happening?

Yep, it's gonna premier in Winter 2014, apparently. Unless it gets delayed again of course lol

Did anyone else think that Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere felt like it could have had genius behind it?

Yeah, it was chaotic and weird and not explained very well (at all) and there was strange ecchi stuff going on, but somehow I finished it feeling like the show was just smarter than I was and I just wasn't getting it. I contrast that with FLCL, where I finished and didn't feel like the show had outsmarted me, just like it wasn't meant to be understood.

Based on what I've heard about the original author, the guy is crazy obsessed with world building, and getting every minute detail exactly right in the novels.

SAO is awesome (not my favorite though)! Currently up to Vol 13. Looking at pictures some interesting stuff happens. Hope the animation team does GGO well. And I hope I get to see a SAO movie (probably an original story, short story, or Mother's Rosario).

While back, I was shocked the fact that Tousen cutted off Grimmjow's hand.
I'm not. Pretty sure Kubo has an amputee fetish. If there is one thing that is reliable in his stories is that people lose arms. I've lost track of how many arms have been cut off in Bleach. Pretty sure we're going to see headlines one day where they find him in his house dead with his pants around his ankles with an arm missing.

Watched both Fate: Stay/Night and Fate: Zero recently, and was somewhat amused the whole way through having foreknowledge of the well documented fan opinions. You always hear how Stay/Night is Anime Satan and Zero is Anime Jesus, and while I share similar opinions in the direction of their quality, I find general fan sentiment to be quite hyperbolic. I found Stay/Night to be mediocre, and Zero to be good, with neither being jaw dropping to me in either direction. Eh who knows. Maybe its attributed to the fact that Stay/Night was a really big letdown to the VN fans as well as having horrible original TRANSRATIONS(I never got to see the "People Die When They Are Killed" line in the Sentai version )that the original was considered so bad, and then Zero was just so shocking that it was actually good after watching the original that people went bonkers over it.
