In my opinion, rap is just people spewing out words at a beat... Total garbage in other words. Never really liked it at all.

I like it only when the beat is good, and the lyrics makes sense. Hate it when the song is about some gibberish stuff and contains exaggerated amount of sexuality.

So much hate!
I don't know if it's called rap anymore, but Tyler the Creator and Odd Future is good car/party music.

It's actually quite funny and it grows on you. But of course it's bloody stupid, I like to mix it up in other genres on my playlists. It's like... the vodka in coke, listen in moderation or you'll be caught in the stupid

I personally love rap music. I was into rock for pretty much my entire life, until a few summers ago I started listening to a few bands. Mostly things like Gorillaz, Flobots and Saul Williams which were quite far from what you normally hear on the radio. Then, one of my friends posted some POS lyrics on facebook, so I looked up the song and loved it. From there I found tons and tons of amazingly talented individuals, largely in Minnesota.

Rap is quite a diverse genre and can be found with a lot of interesting twists. All you need to do is start looking and you'll probably find something you like. I'm up for giving suggestions

it's great as long as it does not advocate crime some of the Polish rap (or hip-hop, as it's how rap music is referred to in Poland) do, which is why I usually avoid Polish rappers...

Big fan of Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, and Milo, right now.

I think rap is too diverse of a genre to write off as quickly as most do.
