Currently work for a local grocery store as a cashier. I like my job alot, its somewhat active and i get to meet different people everyday and get to know certain regulars on a first name basis. Still in college pursuing B.A in Psychology. But have worked as a park ranger, server and for one of the offices at my school.

I've worked Tim Hortons, Media Play (that makes me feel old lol), and a child care center before stopping at my current job.... I'm a cashier at Kroger, and have been for the last eight years. Thankfully we are unionized, but i would like to go back to school for medical billing and coding. Unfortunately can't afford to restrict my hours enough to do this. =/ And i'll never get full time. Least my pay is capped out.

I work for Kroger (Fred Meyers, QVC, King Scoopers, Fry's, etc.) as a cashier, stocker. I only work part time though.

There are good days, there are also bad.

I'm a full time student at the local (read: 18.3 miles away) community college. Hopefully within three years I can get my BS in an engineering field.

Currently looking for a better-paying job. It sucks that a gallon of milk or a gallon of gas costs a little over half of my hourly wage.

I am 25 years old. A graduate student and TA in mathematics.
I've been at it for about 3 years now pursuing a PhD (I have my Masters).

As as TA, I teach freshman calculus and pre-calculus, and tutor too.
Being a TA is quite interesting actually. Grading is atrocious though.

As far as doing research, I just started it (after 2 years of painstaking classes and qualifying exams)
I just can't get into it. I am trying it out for a semester though.
I'm thinking of leaving school. However, there is nothing else I can think of doing (cue existential crisis).
I love that I can get work done on my own terms, but I usually end up procrastinating anyways.

I worked as a "shampoo-girl" at a hair salon once upon a time. That was actually quite fun, although long days and cranky clients was always annoying. I also was a "Checkout-chick" at a supermarket, which wasn't too bad, but was rather boring at times. The last job I had was as a Retail assistant for an edgy stationary store and that was a lot of fun! The supportive manager and friendly team helped a lot.

Currently an unemployed student, waiting to get through the study year...

I currently work at beauty counters at Holts, mostly NARS and Lancôme. I get to play with makeup all day and get perks so it's a lot of fun.
