I've noticed after the past few system updates and whatever Microsoft decides to do with the 360 that the start up takes a very long time. It seems like the more updates the Xbox takes in, the slower it tends to get. The homepage will not load for a while, but I can bring up the dashboard if I press the home button, making things go a bit faster that way.

Actually, now that I think about it, it maybe a problem with the console connecting to Xbox Live. But I would still like to hear some feedback from you guys, if possible.

Yeah, since the last update, it takes a while for the homepage to show up when you power it on. You're just staring at the wallpaper for some time with those "loading, please wait" spinning circles.

Mine seems okay. I don't know. It might be too bogged down with advertisements and useless tabs at this point.

Not really a problem of lag time for start up or anything that I've noticed recently. The only annoying thing is how many updates are coming out even in the middle of games. Which, annoys me to the core especially if I haven't saved. I dunno though, I run a high speed wired connection for live streaming and such so maybe that helps. But every once in a while it'll take a bit to load but that's because I selected stuff to fast. ^^;

The latest updates have killed the software side of the console. Seriously, it takes ages for sections to load it's incredible.

You can always clear out your cache, the 360 is kinda slow especially when it comes to that dashboard.

I've had this problem for the last year or so. Out of curiosity, are other people with this issue on XBL silver or gold? I have a suspicion that people on silver are being dropped to the bottom of priority for server connections and bandwidth, and this is what causes the delay.

I often find that the homepage won't load at all unless there's already a disc in the drive when I switch the system on. I never used to leave discs in the tray when not in use, but this crappy problem has made it necessary.

Honestly, it's on their end i can use Hulu,Netflix,Twitch,& YouTube just fine.Occasionally i might have some problems usually on my
side,but i am always getting server issues on Crunchyroll. Because of that i am always getting pissed,well more annoyed than anything it's
a new company and they just threw themselves into the big league's.Sadly they spend more money on Anime than proper server control,
& rather than expand the servers they need instead buy the rights too more anime which isn't cheap.if they would slow down on other stuff
like the manga,and maybe for a season of anime not upload till they are almost done and update the servers doubt there would be as much
of problem.Again they are new to consoles, so i think they just need to work out the kinks but i don't really even see them attempt that only 1
new update since it's release? I'm no expert but that seems to be lazy/not caring,or my original thought don't have the money for it. Either way hopefully it get's resolved soon because i'm being forced to use Netflix,& Hulu when i would way rather use this. Some times not all the time very rarely am i (forced) but it's get's rather frustrating trying to watch some thing and every 5-10 minutes the servers mess up.
