I just recently found this and it's just so touching.
from the oneshot that made you hate Shoya to the new update that made you love him.
This is really good. the reality is strong in this one. Life is not just a stroll in the park

Yep. Nao is now my no.1 least favorite character. She has completely lost it. What Nishimiya did was foolish and very selfish, and I don't blame Nao for being angry with her, but that doesn't justify what she did in the slightest.

That chapter was so good. Every chapter of this just keeps dragging me back, I love it.

That bitch deserved to be slapped. I mean common, really? It already happened, beating her up isn't gonna do anything.

Powerful chapter! Good to see mom standing up for her girl, finally. Now she needs to help her heal and push her into a certain young man's arms.

Seriously, how is Shoko going to deal with this? I can't see her getting better. It will just cement her opinion of herself...

It said that he had major damage to his buttocks and shoulders. He might have trouble walking, now. I wonder how that will play out with everyone, if that happens. I am still in shock that Nishimiya tried to killed herself. I felt she might have been feeling better about her life, till that event happened.

I dunno about Nao being my least favorite. I still have much hate for Kawai for selling Ishida out by telling everyone about his bullying past right after he asked her not to, just so she could play the victim.

She really needs a mom-slap, too.

My opinion of Nao has been the same all along. Can't say I'm surprised by her actions at all. She's a fairly disgusting character. IMO she doesn't have any right to be angry, since her antics helped contribute to Shoko's broken self esteem in the first place. She's determined to run away from her own culpability and place blame on anyone else but herself. Her whole spill on the ferris wheel was about justifying and excusing herself by off loading the blame for her mistreatment of Shoko on to Shoko herself. It's funny how the story started with Shoya preparing to end his life because of the mixture of guilt he felt over what he'd done to Shoko and pain of ostracism that he'd been enduring due to his former "friends" turning on him, among whom Nao was numbered. If he'd gone through with it she'd have probably found a way to blame Shoko or someone else for that too. No way did she do anything wrong. No way is it her fault. Shoya was right on the money when he called her and Kawai pot and kettle. They are definitely two sides of the same coin. Nao's just blatantly obnoxious with it. She needs more than a slap.

I also hate Kawai, now that you reminded me about her.

Not to mention that Kawai claimed that Ishida threatened her to keep her from revealing his past, which I find it hard to believe even she believes - he may have expressed frustration, she may have found him scary, but it's a far jump from that to "he was threatening me" ... which is the only wrongdoing she could tar him with that wasn't several years old.

As regards the speculation that Ishida might now have a permanent disability as a result of his fall... I have to say I really hope it doesn't go that direction. It's too "neat" a development. I don't doubt that the mangaka could do that direction well if they opted for it, but so much of the drama has come from the fact that not one of the people who care for Nishimiya have first-hand experience of a disability, that it feels like it would be a deus ex machina for Ishida to acquire one now.

I think we're going to get a different view of Ueno in upcoming chapters. Just speculating but:
