If you are using Google Chrome, feel free to install beardfist's extension to obtain this flawless theme.

Don't forget to check out the other features in it as well!

Yes, I would prefer the option of a darker theme, but I'm actually already using an extension on Firefox called "Color That Site" which allows me to manipulate the text and background colors. Took me a few hours before I really got the hang of using it though, lol. For anyone interested, here's the official site for more info: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/color-that-site/?src=api

Here's a couple pics of what my browser on CR looks like after using the "Color That Site" Extension (w/Nasa Night Launch Theme which makes the scroll bar and the toolbar layout of the browser dark):

Maybe it would be a good idea for night-time browsing, since the eyes get tired sometimes...

Been using the extension for several months now, dark theme is pretty cool.

What's also neat is the thread-following feature. Want to be notified when there's a new post? Get this extension, now. You don't even have to be on any CR page at the time, just generally browsing elsewhere, and followed thread (and other) notifications will still show up in the icon.

I don't use this other additional feature very often, but us oldsters still remember something used with usenet readers called a "killfile" where you can make specific users "invisible" to just yourself, so that you don't get all worked up by reading and responding to them. You don't see offensive (to you) posts, and they don't know you're ignoring them. Prevents flame wars. Mostly not needed here on CR, the mods do a pretty good job of keeping it clean, but on occasion you will run into someone who, while they are entitled to their opinions, you just don't want to see them. In the settings, you can configure this as well.

a darker theme would be nice, but with the lighter theme it makes it different from most sites.

I agree....and I also like to point out that if crunchyrolls default theme was "dark," I would have probably never ever explored this site( I'd still watch anime on here though)...mainly because I've been to to other sites where majority of it goes to the "dark side" and I don't know...to me, it looks creepy and depressing for my taste.
P.S. I respect everyone's opinion and I'm not saying that the "dark" theme is bad...after all, there are extensions for it.
