By the way, Pulley, it's been almost a year since Kotoura-san first streamed. Are you still enjoying the material that has come out since the anime ended?
Well, there hasn't been much since. Volume 4 of the manga came out in February, then volume 5 with drama CD in May which I absolutely love but since then... Nothing! I think they worked very hard to write those volumes while the anime was airing but now it has either gone back to the old pace of 10 months between releases or is on hold or done, I'm not sure since I don't get the magazine it runs in but as far as I know it is still publishing. 4-koma just puts out a few pages per month when it isn't in anime accelerated mode.

I bought all the Blurays and absolutely love them a well. Last Bluray came in September so more recently than the manga.

There was also a Sakura san comic out since. She is similar but different too. Not sure if there will be volume 2 or not of that.

So we got a f***ing Guilty Crown ending+a crappy, deus ex happy ending.

You would have to leave the "happy" out when describing the ending to Guilty Crown, however.

I would have to say this is more akin to a Clannad: After Story ending. If there is no second series, I have to wonder if in when some one is asked to cite anime with the saddest ending, they will cite this one. More than once I've seen Clannad: AS mentioned in such topics, as if people forgot how it really ended, and only remembered it up to the point of greatest emotional impact.

I just finished the series within the past hour, and I definitely had mixed feelings about it. I was happy to see Mirai back among the living, but you are certainly correct about the deus ex aspect. OTOH, her earlier disappearance in the episode felt like KyoAni was pushing in the knife and then twisting it around.

I have to wonder how much of the ending was to mollify fans that would have been upset with her death, and how much of it was due to the fact that the light novel series is still ongoing, and/or to allow for a possible second series.

Having not seen Clannad, I would've gone with Gargantia.

I thought Beyond the Boundary was a bit better though.

To be completely honest, The only part I actually really enjoyed of KnK is the Idol Song in Episode 6, nuff said.

So you're glad you didn't actually buy it... with soundtracks I usually prefer to wait for the official samples to be out so I can listen to it first. Sometimes I find the same, just one good song plus the short versions of the OP and ED. Other times, I love the whole thing (Rozen Maiden, LoveLive!, Chihayafuru, Valvrave, Muromi-san, White Album...) and then I buy them of course, and play them to death!

Probably won't buy the OST, cause normally I don't buy them (Since songs without lyrics don't interest me that much xD), only the albums that contain mostly just the ED/OP of the anime, But i might buy this one as it has 3 songs that interest me (Disc 2: 19,20,21) Or just might wait for someone to upload the songs to youtube and ill play them from there~

Some like AoT, KlK, WA2 Setsuna are all or mostly rock songs. Others like Valvrave are mostly actual soundtrack pieces. It depends.
