Congratulations on successfully completing UPT! You've earned your wings. Now you will be assigned to a squadron based on your performance. Here's what YOU need to do:

Look over all the available Squadrons below.

♠ Make a post in this thread that contains:
1) A link to where your UPT Instructor graduated you.
2) Your desired squadron you want to be assigned to.

My Moderators and I will assign you a squadron based on your results in UPT. We will take into heavy consideration your choice, but ultimately if your character doesn't fit the bill for that squadron...you might not get it.

"But Rai-Kage, what if I don't like the squadron my character was assigned to?" Well, there WILL be opportunities for your character to be able to get re-assigned. This will depend on the RP storyline, as well as the growth and development of your character.

Fly high, Pilots!

Emmeria Squadrons

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

3rd Strike Fighter Squadron "Screaming Eagles"

The 3rd Strike Fighter Squadron, or more commonly known as the "Screaming Eagles" are the main air superiority squadron in Emmeria. Their mission is to support, defend, and maintain the airspace in the entire nation of Emmeria. The squadron has a very rich history of honor, strength, and air power in many past conflicts. It was one of the smaller fighter squadrons fighting in the Anean Continental War. It helped spearhead the defense of the capital, Gracemeria along with the 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron, better known as "Garuda Team" and many others.

The majority of the pilots in the squadron are fresh out of UPT. Most of the aircraft flown by members of the Screaming Eagles are F- 16Cs or A-10s. However, you do get the old birds thrown in the mix here and there. These are a hearty bunch and will never back down from a fight.

19th Task Force Fighter Squadron "Shadow Runners" (SOC)

The 19th Task Force Fighter Squadron is an elite unit designated as the "Shadow Runners" by the Emmerian Air Force. It consists of both promising new pilots and veteran pilots from all walks of life. Many of the squadron's operations are never written down in history as a lot of the missions they conduct, deal with special operations. What is known about the squadron however, is that it has over 60 years of service to the nation. Although the pilots in the squadron are the BEST that Emmeria has to offer, records show that they have the largest amount of KIAs in one squadron in the entire Air Force. Many of the names of the pilots who died are never known. The 19th Task Force is a designated Special Operations Capable (SOC) Air Force unit.

The squadron is a very tight knit community, and oftentimes you will see the pilots hanging amongst their own cohort.

31st Heavy Bomber Squadron "The Thunderbirds"

The 31st Heavy Bomber Squadron, nicknamed "The Thunderbirds" definitely pays homage to their name. Their service is always welcomed with a wide berth by Emmerian Ground Forces. Dropping 10,000+ pounds payload of bombs on the enemy's head is always a sight for sore eyes. The main mission of the 31st Heavy Bombers is to provide support to ground forces and strategic bombing of key objectives to hinder the enemy's war-making capability. Although the other squadrons can provide ground support with their Air-to-Ground fighters; what separates Heavy Bombers from the fighters is that they can annihilate an entire area of operation with the amount of ordinance they carry.

Each of the pilots are extremely close with their bomber crew. Those who join this outfit knows that we are all in this together. Every ounce of help counts in a war.

Estovakia Squadrons

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

9th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Devil Dogs"

The 9th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the Estovakian Air Force is a proud squadron, always displaying a great sense of honor even when faced off against their opponents. Called "Devil Dogs" by the Air Force, they excel in maintaining air superiority in the skies of Estovakia. The pilots of the 9th Tactical Fighter Squadron are known to never go down without a fight, and they will fight ferociously to defend their motherland. It is their mission to maintain air power through the entire Estovakian Airspace. If these guys cannot hold the line. Nobody can.

Being the main body of the Estovakian Air Force, most of the fresh pilots out of training are assigned here. Likewise, you also come across excellent leaders and veterans in the squadron who look out for their subordinates as if they were their children.

52nd Force Reconnaissance Fighter Squadron "Lucky Jokers" (SOC)

The 52nd Force Reconnaissance is the Estovakians answer to a Special Operations Capable (SOC) squadron. They are the best of the best. Everyone here knows how to fly. Although nicknamed, "Lucky Jokers" most of the pilots are very professional and will carry out their mission to the best of their ability. It was unclear how the squadron got the nickname, but many believe it to be an inside joke amongst the pilots of the 52nd Force Reconnaissance. Many of the biggest names in the current Estovakian Air Force are or were members of this squadron.

Not much is known about the pilots as they all exclusively stick to their own.

89th Deep Strike Bomber Squadron "Flaming Arrows"

The 89th Deep Strike Bomber Squadron, also known as the "Flaming Arrows" do what they were entitled to do: Perform surgical strategic bombing behind enemy lines through the use of Heavy Bombers. These bomber pilots are no strangers to whats at stake if they are unable to perform their duties. Their main focus is to infiltrate and destroy key objectives at the enemy's vulnerable points. Doing so will enable the rest of the Air Force to do what they do best. Oftentimes, these brave pilots are seen visiting the graves of those who had come and gone before in their shoes as the dangers their mission puts them through are quite intense.

The pilots however are all loyal to God, Country, and the Heavy Bomber Corps. They are extremely proud of their duties and the heritage of those who choose to do what they do.

Nordennavic Squadrons

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

16th Air Command Fighter Squadron "Fighting Cobras"

The Big 16. The Grand Old Squadron. The 16th Air Command Fighter Squadron, known by the Nordennavics as the "Fighting Cobras" is one of the oldest fighter squadrons in Strangreal. The formation of this squadron dates back to the time when flight was first invented. The squadron consisted of only 2 members back then, both who became the Ace of Aces in their time. Over time, the Nordennavic Military converted the squadron into one that became the backbone of the nation's Air Force. Tradition is adhered to strictly in the squadron, as well as the tactics used back then were even put into use today in the modern military. Many pilots believe the 16th Air Command Squadron to be too "old school" and that many of the tactics they used were obsolete. However, judging from the statistics...the "Fighting Cobras" were responsible for half of the entire nation's confirmed kills. Stick to what works, many pilots from this squadron say.

As the nation's main Air Force unit, most of the UPT graduates are assigned to this squadron with several more experienced pilots leading them.

43rd Special Tactics Fighter Squadron "Ghost Busters" (SOC)

The 43rd Special Tactics Fighter Squadrons are a Special Operations Capable (SOC) squadron in the Nordennavic Air Force. Fondly called "Ghost Busters" the literal meaning of that name isn't too far off from what these pilots actually do. They hunt ghosts. They are the squadron that actively goes out to search and destroy enemy next generation aircraft, and other enemy SOC squadrons. The Nordennavic Military aren't really that into the tactic of using special operations units, so they instead opted to defend themselves and prevent enemies from using such tactics. To say that the pilots from this squadron are good is a gross understatement. It is speculated that the 43rd doesn't only recruit pilots from their nation, but from other nations as well.

Nobody really knows the pilots here, as many people who claimed they have met someone in the squadron often reported that these pilot's brains were always "up in the clouds".

7th Strategic Bomber Squadron "Raging Tigers"

The 7th Strategic Bomber Squadron, also known as the "Raging Tigers" are an extremely capable squadron of Heavy Bombers that employ the use of tactical awareness and teamwork to complete their objective. Their mission is to destroy enemy ground targets with a barrage of 10,000+ pounds of bomb payload over a wide area. This tactic, known as "carpet bombing" is an extremely effective strategy to counter massive enemy ground forces or to annihilate a target area entirely. During war, eyewitnesses to this squadron's bombings say they hear a tremendous roar up in the skies from all of their engines, then suddenly Armageddon happens.

You will almost never see a bomber from this squadron flying solo. The pilots are dedicated to their crew, and to their other fellow fighter pilots as they are part of One Team. One Fight.
