I can't wait for Delusion Express! In my opinion, it's soooo much better than Mayoi's original OP. Meg Rock is awesome nontheless!

Do you mean Happy Bite? Delusion Express is Nadeko's second OP.

lol yes, that's what I meant.

Yeah Mayoi's first OP was... pretty bad in my opinion haha. Too much of that "obnoxious electro" sound.

lol "Obnoxious" is a pretty accurate word to describe it alright! For Hanekawa, Although Chocolate Insomnia is pretty good, my favorite OP from her is definitely Perfect Slumber. ^_^

Agreed! It's a really nice track that demonstrates her strength as a singer. My favourite OPs from the series in general has to be between Renai Circulation (Which I've listened to so many times that I know 90% of the lyrics to) or Fukatotome by Chiwa Saito, although I'm pretty drunk and can't remember if that was ever an OP or just a character song for Senjougahara.

Although its interesting that Staple Stable and Fukatotome have the same keyboard rhythm just in different keys.

Edit: I dunno if you saw the link I posted in one of the forums earlier, but it's a really cool remix of Renai Circulation, Platinum Disco, and Levels by AVICIII, and I love it.

Fukatotome and Stable Staple were used as OPs. One from Bakemono and the other from Nisemono. It is strange to have another OP for Hitagi during that time, but I guess they have their reasons. I assume it's because Karen Bee's plot doesn't really start till later on in the show. I'm actually torn between Stable Staple and Fukatotome! They both have their appeal.

And let's not forget how wonderful Platinum Disco was! Not only did I really like that song, but I love the visuals of it's OP as well! It really complimented each other.

Platinum Disco and Marshmallow Justice (Karen's sole OP) were both amazing. I constantly read about hwo fans are disappointed by Nisemonogatari, but I simply don't see it. I totally LOVED Nisemonogatari and didn't seen anything wrong with the fanservice, or whatever had fans so irritant.

OPs aside, I love the track Imouto-dachi (the guitar track that plays when Koyomi is talking about his sisters) and recently found the track Moeru Onna (a percussion, bass, and guitar track from what I presume is Nisemonogatari) and was surprised by how awesome it was.

It annoys me that these aren't on youtube to show what I mean.

I also kinda enjoyed Ambivalent World (Kanbaru's OP) although it took me until a couple weeks ago to really like it.

I completely agree! Nisemono was very Very good! And I understand how frustrating it is to see people talking down this arc because of the "fan service". It also annoys me how Most people associate the Monogatary series with that toothbrush scene. Every time I talk to the common otaku about Monogatari, THAT is the first thing they'll mention. Even more so when they feel offended by it. I mean, Monogatary is a GREAT series with many amazing memorable moments. To hear someone talk about the toothbrush scene first over all the wonderful aspects of the show really grinds my gears.

No worries, I know exactly the tracks you're talking about! I have all the OSTs myself. Isn't it amazing how we just keep finding wonderful tracks? Since I last posted here on this topic, I've found a lot of other tracks I enjoy!

I'm also looking forward to Kanbaru's new theme. Her original OP was decent in my opinion, as it didn't really have that uniqueness to it's character that the other had, but I'll probably enjoy it more as well if I sit and really listen to it.

I do think that the toothbrush scene was hilarious though. But there are SO many other things to be reminded of. Koyomi ingesting the sword from Shinobu and using is as a trap for Black Hanekawa? That was genius. Hitagi and Koyomi's anticlimactic reconciliation with Kaiki, Yotsugi "poking" Tsukihi in half, Meme flipping the crab, and ESPECIALLY Koyomi's mother finally appearing, I cant even begin to list all the amazing scenes from this series because honestly, every scene is great.

I really can't wait for Hanamonogatari to get animated. I hope they just make it an OVA like Neko Kuro, and not a movie thaqt can get delayed for over a year -_-

Has anyone heard of "Watashi no Monogatari" form Nekomono (White)? I am really loving it. Actually, everything in it's album sounds simply amazing. If you're having a hard time looking for the OST of that arc, you can find it here.

(The track that I was referring to is the first one listed in the album)
