Wow, welcome to body image issues where any kind of fat is shamed and we tell them to eat a snickers when they're feeling down. Let's just ignore the fact that some people we'd call fat are perfectly healthy, and that shame creates stress that adds to the weight and move on.

My mom does this while scarfing down brownie brittle, and complaining about how she needs to start exercising. She's in such great shape for her age though.

My girlfriend does this...She doesn't realize I love her current plumpness, and yet she's still desperately trying to diet.

EDIT: She does realize this. Excuse me. I just woke up.

True, just depends on where in the world people live.

I think a lot of people in this world don't realize that most other people actually prefer some meat on their partner.

I know I, for one, do not prefer slimness over a meaty body. I actually prefer the natural plumpness of a body as opposed to gym fit...

Yes, I know where you're coming from. Bit chubby myself, so I don't expect my girl to be skinny if I myself can't get off my ass to work out. Plus it's so damn fun to exploit how ticklish she is, and she has what's called love handles so yeaaaahhhh...

I actually fussed at her when she told me she had to go on a diet because of a doctor. She does NOT need to go on a diet, she is the PERFECT being where she is. That fear face is she's so damn perfect I'm scared.

I'm one of those people.

I try to be a vegetarian but it is hard for me because I love rice, and meat. I also try to go to the gym but life sometimes gets too hard or maybe I'm weak and full of excuses but eating something sweet makes me feel better and forget a little bit about the problems.

I used to suffer from anorexia when I was 14...I grew up in an environment where being just a little bit fat (not overweight) was bad and people, family, friends would make fun of you. Unfortunately, I have low metabolism and i was never good at sports. My whole life has been a constant struggle against losing and gaining weight.

After anorexia, I think I became bulimic, I would eat a lot until I couldn't eat no more because I was so hungry then I would feel so bad and throw up. Right now I say I don't care anymore but I do. I don't have a regular weight, I'm always losing weight and I stop until I hit the 1,20lbs mark because everybody tells me how skinny I am and then I gain everything back (1,35lbs =_=) right now I'm at 1,30lbs...

Eh...I think I'm getting off topic here well, my point is: don't judge people because they're fat or can't lose weight...some are like that because they are lazy but some other people may suffer from something and can't control what they eat or don't eat.

Losing weight is harder for some people than others. I hate when some people who never gain a single pound make losing weight sound like such an easy thing to conquer. There are many reason why some people gain and can't lose the pounds. Everyone's body works differently and don't assume its simple. They shouldn't be judge by ignorant people. I agree with you all the way.
