eh, I didn't really dig the first episode too much. it just felt like your average romcom with a school setting. they may have claimed it was college, but it could've been high school for all that it mattered. I'll watch a few more episodes and see where it goes.

Not many high schools have "Latin Music Clubs" that dance in those type of costumes at them. Also, when the drinking parties start happening it will stop seeming like high school entirely.

It reminds me more of Nodame Cantabile than I thought it would, but that may just be the fact that the ED really reminds me of some of the music from that show.

If you want to enjoy a study in contrast, compare the reactions to Golden Time here, on a site where people come to watch anime and be entertained, with those on the Spring Preview feedback thread (and reviews in the preview). It appears that people that post on sites dedicated to actually enjoying anime enjoy it more than people who post on sites where the primary goal of people posting appears to be arguing and showing off how much of an anime snob you are.

I really liked Linda in the first episode, but Koko blew so far past her in episode 2 they can't even see each other anymore. Japanese people really have a different mentality than me though. Put an American in the same room with a bunch of hot drunk Asian girls and 9 times out of ten they'll say, "This is heaven." This guy though, "This is hell."

Loved ep 2. Knowing Lindas past(read ahead) im still able to side evenly with her and kaga-san. This series and Nagi no asakura are both puzzlers to me. As far as who might actually end up with who. I've watch so much Romcom/Dramas i can usually tell from the get go but they're both so puzzling. Excited for next weeks ep!

So based on the OP & next weeks episode it's a lock he'll end up with Kaga, at least for the duration of the series? Seems like a set up for a love triangle or square if you throw in Linda.

Another great second episode. Most of the series I'm seeing this season have had great second episodes.

The Event Circle(I think that's the name of the club Tada and Kaga are going on the new member retreat, it is the only words I could read on their flyer at least) seems like a cool club.

However, the Tea Club is my kind of club. A bunch of wild parties filled with hot, drunk, horny women? Tada my friend that isn't hell, it is heaven on Earth!

Why is this show the best for me for fall 2013 so far? It's not even good, it's far beyond that right now. I don't want to praise it too much but right now they have so much to work with, the characters are fun and it's just entertaining. You can really get a good feel of the characters without giving too much away in the early episodes. To think this would be my favorite...maybe because it has what Toradora! couldn't fulfill for me...maturity and all likable characters. I really hope it keeps up, i would hate for it to start lacking.

Oh God that tea club....ahahahaha. I'm not sold on this show yet as it's 2 core and I think there would be a lot of developments coming soon. However, right now my favorite character from the series is Linda.

As for Banri...probably going to need a ton of development for this kid. Oh and some possible flashbacks would be nice to see what went on before his debut in this show.

The Tea Club... hot damn! Poor Linda, she is my favorite. I feel bad for Kaga-san in regards to her feeling invisible. I've known girls like her who are beautiful and not through her own fault seem unapproachable. When she isn't obsessed over that dude, she seems like a really fun girl.

*chuckles*

I may have gone to university in the U.S., but ... this does make me remember many things. (Me? I was more of a 2D-kun in those days.) Enjoying the show, though I am still undecided as to how I feel about Koko as a character.
