They make me want to counter with either the music of Igor Stravinsky or Jimi Hendrix.

Honestly, I think it's annoying. There is no reason for anyone's music to be that loud

I blast music so I can be sure to appreciate every facet of the song I'm listening too while I'm in a long drive. (which is usually the case since work is an hour away)

It's of no importance what the people around me think. I'll blast instrumentals, jpop, and hiphop one after the other if I want LOL

It's stupid as hell and inconsiderate to everyone around you.

Just music is one thing, but if you have a subwoofer or w/e they're called, and I can feel the vibrations from 3+ car distance. I will instantly label you a douchebag.

Oh, and then there are the people who are just crying for attention, and will have the window down specifically just to bother you with their music.

So you don't care that your music might be bothering other people, maybe people with little kids, etc. It's all just about you and who gives a fuck what happens to others? I don't know how loud you blast your musics but if a person in another car with their windows rolled up can hear and feel the vibrations don't you think it is a bit inconsiderate?

Alright boss, I get what your saying and why. Still, I'm not going to spell out the specifics of my circumstance to 'justify' anything but I will say that by the established definition in this topic, I do in that sense "blast music".

Whether it's inconsiderate or not is hardly a matter as I don't have the equipment to cause a 'disruption to society' nor do I want to break my ear drums in the long run.

I will say a ton of you are quick with your tongue. I don't get how people could be so serious about this topic when people drive so furiously on the road and act like that's a non issue. Seriously, I try to get from A to B alive while following the rules of the road and here we are passing judgement on people because of speakers. (i don't even have a traffic violation in my record and I've been driving for years)

Sheesh, be more passionate about something like peoples driving habits. Music is a moot point in comparison to the way people act in the road. That subject would have more merit for passing judgement upon the 'inconsiderate'.

LOL. The best part is when you're at the stop light, and all you see are their hands and head bobbing all over the window.

What's worse is when people with cell phones blast their music in public.

I blast classical music or classic rock. (not often though) ex. Jupiter - Holst, Queen - Fat bottom girls

So I don't really care that much, unless their sub-woofer is too loud and shakes my home, then it bothers me.

I'm one of those people, lol. Only because I love my music and my bass is amazing, but residential areas are to be respected for their peace, of course.

What makes you think I am not passionate about people driving safe? It is very important to drive safely and within the laws and kudos to you for being a safe driver. I just think it's important to be safe and considerate. I don't see anything wrong with playing your music loud as long as it's not so loud that it affects other people. Maybe that's just how I am and everyone is wired differently. Peace.

if its a long drive, then hell yes. But I never blast it incredibly loud, just loud enough to cause little vibrations. If its somewhere close, nah. If someone dosent like what im listening to though, just turn up your radio, i dont really care.
