true but it's a joke with 1.5 mil troops and a nuke if the usa wasn't holding it in check the south would fall in days

They are decades behind technologically, they can hardly feed their own people and they can barely get a rocket off the ground.

South Korea has a pretty well equipped military force that can handle the north.

@ Dat
I must dissagree Seoul is like 10 miles from the dmz give or take so it's going to fall in the first hours they have 300k men whos sole purpose is to take out the leadership

if they last a week I would be surprised unless China steps in they are the 500lb ape in the room

-The world would be way behind on Technology
-The Nazi Party would maintain an Iron Fist over Europe and Africa since the U.S never intervened in WW2 (which still would have occured with or without the U.S)
-Japan would maintain Control over the Entire Asian Continent and pacific. Russia would cease to exist with a joint attack between the Japanese Empire and the Nazi Empire.
-The Nazis would then initiate their "Final Solution" and the Mass Genocide of every non German/Aryan including the Japanese Empire.
-World Run By Anti-Semetic Assholes

Basically, History would remain the same up to the point of World War 2. without the U.S involvement, the Axis Powers would have Won.
We could look at it as the Deciding point of the world. History After WW2 would be re-written, and not in a good way.

So no, the world would not be a better place without the U.S

Even though the North korean army is larger, it would still not be enough to compensate for their poor equipment.

I'm not even sure if the north has the logistics to support such an operation especially considering that they can hardly feed their own people.

Even though the North Korean air force is larger it's still behind technologically, and not mention how inexperienced their pilots are.
If the south could secure the aerospace it would be an great advantage in this hypothetical scenario.

The only real serious threat i can think of to the south is the artillery.

I found this helpful as it compares the numbers.

You are leaving out one of the biggest players in the second world war.

As much as I hate to admit it, I believe it would have a big negative impact on the world, especially for those of us in England.

Depends on what you mean.

Dose another country take it over? Is it wiped about by some nuclear stuff or aliens?

I think it might though

If that's the case I guess it will make a impact and it might take a while until all the countries get used to not being involved with the U.S. That's my perspective though I'm not very good as far as politics and economics goes. If they was to drop out the United Nations it may spark some you know tension possibly a new cold war can take it place because nations will be probably be upset saying things like "Bitch move 'Merica bitch move..." and things like that. Not likely a new cold war but I would consider that happening.
