It was love at first sight.
Hikari should just ditch that dunce and resurface to the real world and be with me!

This is an okay start of the season, though my issue is that it could use a bit of humor into it and some characters were not that bright especially the MC. Well I'll get used to it when I progress through.

On the positive side, The animation, the character visuals, the art of the settings, the OP and ED, and the ost were captivating. But kind of a weird concept when they are living in the sea and attending school in the lands side. I can't wait to see more.

I cannot wait to watch this again when I can watch it in 1080. Even in SD the animation is GORGEOUS.

Fascinated by the overall concept, as well as the chance to watch them explore some of the themes they have already raised, like discrimination. Character relations are already starting to shift, which could be a bad thing, but it didn't bother me.

It's just so pretty to look at. Beautiful. I can't get over that.

EDIT: Can anyone find the PV song for me? Please?

Indeed the animation, visuals are nicely done and of high quality. The music gives me the impression of a drama which is what this anime is mainly is plus the the imaginative part.

The premise is very interesting. The characters are distinct.

LOts of new male seiyuu in this one but its good to hear Toriumi san as the Uroko sama the sea god of sort lol. I love his voice. Hanazawa got another lead. I am hearing her voice in other titles as well for this season...but its pretty much her cute voice lol and young Ohsaka , my favorite for Maou sama is a supporting cast. He is also in other anime that I like for this season so far

I wll follow this one .

So far this is pretty good looking. By that I mean that the story looks pretty good. Not too exiting once you remove the hook. (Is that a pun? In this case I think it is...)

Anyway, the net result (hehehe) of the first episode is that I want to see more.

Oh, and the scenery porn is ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!

Thanks! I actually did some research on my own, and the PV song (they called it the image song) is "Nagi," also by Ray.

凪 nagi means calm and was the title of an episode of Gargantia IIRC

凪の明日から calm from tomorrow...

Beautiful animation and a very imaginative take on world building. So far, I'm not overwhelmed by the story--the set up is pretty ordinary--but there are plenty of twists it can take from here.

Solid first episode.

NTR is present.

They're pulling out all the stops to keep us watching this, not of my concern, but for those unfamiliar with the genre should be wary of depression.
