Yea i could take one look at the picture and know i won't like this i wouldn't think it would have NTR in it they look to young for series romance in this show, but i know its going to be a bunch of love triangles where no one ends up with who you want them to.

My eyes were leaking through the whole show. Not because it was sad and depressing, but beacuse the setting was so beautiful. The OP and ENDs were things of pure beauty as well.

PA Works has done it again.

The dead fish does not bode well however... I think there is going to be some sort of conflict where the sea folk have to come live on land... I hope this isn't the case, cause I really like the idea of the setting being under water.

Agreed. I think you are on the right track. There have been a number of hints besides the dead fish. The water is getting too salty; the humans are fishing outside of their areas; and the potential cancellation of the offering ceremony.

Considering this show is done by the same folk that did Angel Beats, I think full-scale tear-jerking is in the near future...

They're pulling out all the stops to keep us watching this, not of my concern, but for those unfamiliar with the genre should be wary of depression.

Don't quite see how this is NTR. From what I've seen, they're not in any kind of romantic friendship and she's never shown any romantic interest in him so she couldn't have been stolen from him since she was never really his in the first place.

I don't doubt that for a minute. :D

Yeah, that's my feeling too; they haven't progressed past childhood friends, though he is aware he has some feelings for her. This isn't NTR as much as it is the typical love triangle, or should I say pentagram considering the number of people involved.

Perhaps I should have stated NTR is used in as an innuendo to add clarity. It's told through Hikari's perspective(so far). He's been taking care of her for awhile and obviously showed a romantic interest in her. She suddenly gets swept (fished) off her feet by another male and begins show a romantic interest in the other party, whilst the MC just watches (for now). It isn't NTR, but it is a variant of it to a certain degree.

Seems like it's shaping up to be a pseudo Shakespearian star-crossed lover story a la Romeo & Juliet though that premise has a fair amount of routes it can take. In the end it's P A Works so I'll watch it anyway.

The animation is incredible. Just finished the first episode and my heart still aches. It's going to grind on me having to wait seven days each time for a new episode. But, that's just means I'm very interested. Oh and unrequited love is so hard to watch because you want to jump into the scene and yell "Tell him/her now. Don't ever wait. Time will pass you by!"

The animation for this is so pretty and I'm glad there's an original animation this fall. (Original as in not based on a manga). I think the series will start to go down because of several reasons.

- Potential love pentagon

- Hikaru's (Hikari?) bratty persona

- Weird-ass remarks that could have not happened at all (e.g. that weird scene where the guy comments about Manaka being in "heat")

The animation is gorgeous .

But the main character is kind of... bratty.

And the heroine is... ugh.

This show is surely gonna be real interesting, and we got 23 more episodes. Like someone said, its prolly gonna get real dramatic as the characters develop. As per the romantic side of things, I can see this ending in 4 different ways with different variables.

Episode 2

Well, so I guess a rule of the other world is revealed this episode regarding relationships. That's a damn shame honestly although I originally thought the punishment would be even worse than just exile.

On the other hand, I sense some jealousy in this episode as well~
Decent stuff so far. I wonder what other rules there are that viewers should know later.
