Another awesome episode and I too love the ED! Only problem is so far they're halfway through one novel after 2 episodes so they likely won't get more than 3 novels through, and there are 12! Seasons 2 and 3 please!!! Is it too early to ask? LOL

Love the characters, the action, the music, the story... and I must get the prologue novel 0 that comes with volume 1 of the discs!

Is this based on a manga or novel? i know there is a manga - I've read through this arc a while ago - but is the manga the original medium?

I'm also wondering if he might get those other two Shoko dolls in the ED, he was saying how his family puppeteer technique is team based, though that would probably take away from the importance of yaya, and since it's called Unbreakable Machine-Doll I kinda doubt he will.

The Light Novels are the original medium. The manga volumes are based on the novels.

I am loving this show so far, kind of getting vibes they're going into the bleak-bleak. I hate that usually

It looks like mentioning Shoko is the only thing that can make Yaya angry and not just sad/desperate. Speaking of which, those have got to be some of the most unique tears I've ever seen in an anime.
Charl x Felix? That would be an unexpected, but welcome development, though it's still too early to say for sure. Either way, I'm intrigued by Raishin and Yaya's backstory so far; I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.

I also love the backstory, both the serious one and the humorous one we sometimes reserve for 'back' story here as anime fans. I enjoy both aspects of this anime, the serious...

And I enjoy the juxstaposition of the two, this doll that is sad, happy, angry, fearless, Raishin who is full of fury and yet also kindness. Moments like this one and that one within moments of one another in whipsaw fashion. Love it!

Really good second episode. Good comedy, intriguing mystery, LOVE Raishin's backstory. That looks to be something good.

And of course I love the opening, but especially love the ending. That is going to be an earworm ending that I will just have to watch every episode.

Also I can see why Raishin is so head over heels for Shoko. She be looking fiiiiiiiine.

Also also, the more I look at Charl, the more she reminds me, at least visually, of Noel from the BlazBlue series.

Episode 2:

Loved it! The Ending.. Dance Dance Dance to that song :D! Raishin be making his puppet jealous haha Comedy made me laugh. Yaya and her tears! some kind of balls xD! Ended in a cliffhanger that I wanted to see, Raishin to the rescue! looks like Yaya is in trouble from that evil dude e.e.

Wish Crunchyroll wouldve streamed this

Agreed, but sadly they can't get every series. FUNimation will fight tooth as nail each season to at least get co-Streaming rights to the most hyped show of the season and then get a few other series.

At least the series is streaming on Hulu so I can watch it.

Episode 2
Magnus voiced by the same person who voiced Kagami. And Felix is voiced by KajiKaji.

Raishin didn't stand a chance against Magnus.

Raishin is tasked to defeat the Cannibal Candy.

Raishin and Charlotte go on a date.

Like the fact that Raishin can fight on his own and doesn't need to dependent on Yaya for everything like the other puppeteers.Wonder what Charlotte's sin was?

Cliffhanger was predictable tbh.

Like OP and the ED was decent,I guess.I'm guessing those other dolls were the rest of Raishin's doll collection(harem).

Episode 2

Episode was okay but kind of boring a bit. But the ending cliffhanger got me hyped for the next episode.

There are suspenseful moments such as the investigation of the automaton murder Cannibal Candy and some funny moments about Yaya when clinging into Raishin.

I was a little worried when the first episode started off immediately with loli fan service, but I was quickly won over by Yaya's funny, not-quite-sociopath, yandere antics.
