Having been using it for an hour, I like the little subtle changes they've made but nothing AMAZING has stood out. Apps seem to run a bit sluggish on my ancient iPhone 4 but this prob won't be an issue for iPhone 5 owners or once the 5S comes out in 2 days. It didn't feel like a redesign or a complete overhaul as Apple has described, feels more like a slight tweek. Most of the functions still work the same way.

What does everyone else think?

It's Ok. It's about what I expect from Apple nowadays.

Most of the ideas were taken from jailbroken apps, so I have no reason to switch.

I'm honestly not impressed. Yes, the new interface is beautiful and more "clean cut" looking, but it's still the same old crap (nothing really new). This will definitely be my last iPhone, unless Apple finally switches things up

Completely lateral upgrades? That's what I expect.

I personally feel that it looks bad. I haven't had the opportunity to see how it actually functions, but I'm not a fan of the aesthetics aspect, anyway.

I don't mind it over all, it seems a little faster or responsive on my iPhone 4S. Although to me, it's a little sluggish when it comes to writing and sending messages.

Not entirely impressed at first few minutes of usage. Sluggish sometimes. Wouldn't have made much of a difference if I didn't upgrade. Overall, I just am hoping I'm going to be able to adapt to it so my productivity stays the same as always when i'm using it.

The devices themselves aren't really revolutionary in the first place. Apple is far from revolutionary, they've just made a lot of things adaptable to everyday life. And that's my only kudos to them.

I like Apple products, simply because I don't need to take time to think about their functions or existence. e.g. I pick up my iPad without thinking it's a wow amazing 'iPad', but helpful tool I use to solve bigger things at hand. Kind of like enjoying the contents of a book rather than trying to be amazed at the physical book itself.

So updates or not, as long as they don't get too ahead of themselves and ruin everything they've succeeded in doing in the past. I'm content with them.

Yeah. It seems like too much effort went into ditching skeuomorphism. Who cares anyway? And every major revision seems to do something baffling.

Now with iTunes, if you dealt with podcasts in the traditional way (list view), you'll see all the old episodes in the cloud. I don't want to see them anymore. That's why I deleted them originally, but you can't seem to get rid of the "cloud" ones now. And there are thousands of these buggers. On top of that, the "cloud" preference setting doesn't seem to work for podcasts.

I can't really say if I like it or not, haven't had it for too long. I do wish Apple would allow users to customize color schemes a little more, but that was one of my long standing complaints.
