Good or bad, tell us like it is...

We are users too, and we like to enjoy the site just like the rest of you and are subject to the same rules.

But....

Something tells me that if this moderator has to go Pulp Fiction on you its probably gunna get ugly!!

"What's a moderator?"

95% of the time, a janitor. (^_~)
5% of the time, a gardener. For all that some would decry "censorship!", unchecked incivility is a weed that quickly chokes out worthwhile discourse.

If posting on a moderated forum is really that horrible of an experience, you can always vote with your feet... but most of us, I think, far prefer a community where "LOL YOUR A *#$*$#" isn't the standard.

The mods are pretty lenient here, to be honest. I break rules all the time, I see other users breaking rules all the time, but seldom do I see anyone get warned or banned. I was actually going out of my way to try and get banned by breaking as many rules as I could one time to test how much I can get away with on this site. Still, nothing. I guess it takes many repeated offenses. Like that religious extremest conspiracy theorist guy who kept forcing his shit on everyone. I forgot his name, but I'm glad he got banned. I think he got something outrageous like 50 a 50 year ban. It was pretty funny. Anyway, you guys are doing fine.

Wait what you've never seen a banned account on here? Lol I've seen a few. If you go into a forum thread and see a reply/post and no user picture/name to the left of it then that person is banned. I'm not sure if every moderator can ban you but that's why I won't say anything rude back to any of them, never know when someone is feeling power hungry.

I've been banned a few times myself, but for nothing major. Sometimes without warning, sometimes with. Depends.

Okay sir so I will direct my questions to you. Okay If I have a question and I ask a moderator are they supposed to respond to me or can they say something smart while answering me like i'm stupid?
I used to be a moderator on a different forum a while back and so I sorta know rules when it comes to creating a thread. So when I post a question I make sure it's in the correct section, that it's not personal. and that the question doesn't just have a yes or no answer so that people can participate in the thread with there reasoning. My problem is that SOMEONE that literally posted in this very thread must have only read the title and the first line and just locked the thread, they didn't even bother sparing a bit of there PRECIOUS time to read the paragraph I wrote, it's not like it was a essay. But they had no problem just locking it.
Another time I made a thread saying how a video game I was playing looked similar to something else basically asking if people were aware of the game, had they ever played a previous game in the series, did they like it? and like 10mintues later I can't find it, why? because a Moderator took it upon herself to change the name of the thread that I posted..... and then I don't even have the option to change it back????? I dunno I'm not trying to argue with "you" personally i'm glad you replied i'm just going to try and post my threads on other sites seeing as I don't have any type of control over the things I post, In the Forum rules you should add a line that says that moderators have free reign over anything posted and that they don't need your permission they just do whatever they feel like.

1. No they shouldn't. If that happens, please PM me what has happened so I can investigate further.
2. I appreciate that you used to be a moderator on another site, but ultimately you are not a moderator here. Modding, as you know, is for the most part gray territory. If you DID moderate in another forum, then please take the time to read our rules, and try to adapt to Crunchyroll.
3. I'm going to lock and close this now, because ultimate it shouldn't exist. If you have issues with any of the Moderators, please send me a Private Message, or submit a formal complaint via the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page so I can look into it further.

Best,
-Baker
