Well its close to impossible since you can't make every single person what you want them to be like. Even if you did , there would still be little flaws that would lead to larger ones and eventually you would have to start again.

Maybe not completely peaceful, but I feel like we can get really damn close. 100 years ago we were slaughtering soldiers in the hundreds of thousands. Today that would be unthinkable. If we can make that much progress in 100 years, who's to say we can't do better in 1000 years? (unless of course we have another Dark Age where we totally regress again)

In order for society to be peaceful a government needs to e incredibly corrupt. Therefore the citizenry is all more or less passive and there may not be wars depending on if it's a world gov type thing or not. In that case the gov is teh evil force so it falls into the 1984 orwellian society type thing.

Also this is in the wrong place.

I agree will this. Reason is that as long as conflict exists, complete peacefulness cannot.

No.

Because people have their own individual minds, when one's values come in conflict with another, someone has to give something up or fight to keep it.

Tell me, if it came down to the most important things in your life would you give those up for the sake of 'peace'? The reason we fight in the first place is because there's something we either try to preserve or achieve.

As long as people have something to preserve or achieve, we can never reach absolute peace. End of line.

all you have to do is define peace as something a little bit different than you would today. Does total peace means there are no confrontation between individuals? Or is the definition of peace is no war between countries? But then you go in the definition of the war was stretched too. By wording of conflict other than war. What about if whole world becomes one country? And some groups still confront each other? Say, Sunni and Shi'a for the sake of their more than 1000 years of sprite.
