I'm pretty sure these guy accounts are actually girls.

I can ignore tentacle scenes just fine; however, I don't like it when they seem to be randomly tossed in, or when they interrupt an action sequence. I've seen and read about worse. The most horrifying that I've come across have nothing to do with Japan, manga, and anime... Sorry to disappoint those who apparently think that the Japanese are the most perverse people on Earth.

P.S. This isn't what I originally posted. I decided to omit a recount of a childhood fear of mine.

I'm also scarred for life. I stumbled across a porn channel when I was 11. Similarly, I discovered hentai when I was 15-16. DirectTV and the Internet is scary. I've also read horrendous books, with the worst being:

Don't read it.

and more like 15 and 16yrs of age recently, i dove deeper into the depths...subcategories of hentai DUN DUN DUUN!

After my initial shock, I actually went out of my way to research hentai. It's quite interesting. In fact, I learned that tentacle hentai originated as a sneaky way to get past laws, because the Japanese government once demanded heavy censorship and outlawed all conventional ways of illustrating sexuality. The laws eventually lessened and no longer exist, but the resultant genre is here to stay. I also found out that the lolita genre is of Russian origin, at the hands of Vladmir Nabokov. Sadism is apparently linked to a French author named Marquis de Sade, as masochism is tied with an Austrian writer named Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. I recall little of what I learned, unfortunately.

It took me several tries to successfully force myself to finish the book. Read at your own risk.

One can also "thank" those same laws for bukkake.

to answer the question:

I sure dont like it.

I dont remember when I first stumbled upon one but I remember thinking man,,,those Japanese guys sure love kinky stuff and I guess its easier to make in animated version.

and I avoid this genre .

AND the only tentacles I like are roasted squid on a stick

Honestly? I don't mind them. Then again I can watch nearly anything from tentacles to incest and not care. It's quite good actually, the less that annoys you the more stress free your life is. I mean, it's not like America and the UK have any weird shit, right? RIGHT!?

I guess there's a few of us here in anime / manga fandom, huh? He doesn't have anything to do with tentacles, though, just, y'know, almost every other breakable taboo there is. He writes very well, but is very draining to read.

And I guess Overfiend is weak by some of today's standards, AK, but remember that it was practically a genre-creator in this regard.
