I just think that there people just like you or me. We all have emotions and we all have those days where we're pissed or just down right depressed. Sometimes people who are angry can be kinda funny in the way that they act, for depressed people, I kinda want to know why their depressed and cheer them up. Though I agree with what some people say, it does get tiresome when people are angry all the time. I can't stand a women who's angry all the time for no reason.

I'm one of those angry people. Never knew the day would come when I'll be able to "get" Squidward.

Being around angry people is kinda awkward to me. Seeing someone depressed, i usually think of what i can say to make things better, or stay silent. If that seems like the right thing to do. I'm talking by own experience when i say that other peoples input when you are depressed, can make things worse.

Those who are sad and/or depressed: I always want to help them, but I never know what to do >.<
Those who are angry: I try to make them calm down, maybe I get angry as well <.<! Or I just walk away.

To all that are depressed and those who are not, just remember one fact. The world and everybody in it, sucks.

It seems kinda weird to me that you're sort of grouping depression and anger, as though they're even related things. I've been depressed for 19 months now, but it doesn't make me angry towards people.

If someone's sad, I'll help them if I think I can.
If someone's angry, then it depends a lot on the situation. If they're angry about something stupid, then it's often best to just let it wear off. If they're angry + upset about something, then it's often better to try and talk it through with them.

Of course, I don't think I'm really the best at comforting people. I don't project my emotions very well, so someone may think I don't really care about what they're talking about. All I can really do sometimes is offer a hug, but since I like hugs so much it just seems like I'm being selfish rather than actually trying to help them.

You're THAT angry? Yeesh. Watch too much SpongeBob or something?

Eh, angry people are fun to play with. Depressed people can be fun to cheer up.

I'm one of those people who suffers from depression and I don't have it for no reason -__- It's just miserable having it all the time and people who don't have just don't seem to understand most of the time and just tell us to suck it up when in fact we can't. It's an invisible scar, and like a real scar, it will never go away completely :(

But that's just me ^^", it could be different for others lol

I try not to show I'm depressed when I am, but it's pretty hard to do that ^^". I do admit though that when someone who is depressed openly announces it to everyone just to get some attention, it is pretty annoying. Depression is no laughing matter to take advantage of just to get some attention.

Whenever someone I know is depressed, I cheer them up and put a big smile on their face. I'm not sure about angry people other than try to talk to them or stay silent...

I think I'm a pretty a depressed/angry person when I'm left to my own thoughts. I try to keep myself busy so I don't have to really think too much on things. It stresses me out real fast.
What I think about others who are like me, I empathize. Let's turn that frown upside down!

The depressed people I don't like to be around are those who whine and complain all the time - internet, in person, to strangers, to everyone and anyone. The one's who constantly want attention for it. They're letting the anger and/or depression consume them and it affects others around them.

If someone I meet for the first time is like that, my first thought is they're having a bad day and try to make them feel better. If it's an all the time thing then I usually distance myself from that kind of negativity.

depressed people are actually helped a lot by being around nice and positive people, people who avoid those who have depression because they think it's somehow contagious just make it worse for them.

I'm talking about the people who, even when around friends and a good time is going on, they're bitter and just want to complain about everything. I've only met a handful of people like that and it's not that fun to be around especially when I too struggle with depression. Just like how being around positive people helps, being around negative people affects you too. Not everyone with depression complains and is bitter all the time for everyone to know about!
