Pads? Tampons?

Our modern generation has it too easy.

Back in my day we grabbed the ol' mop and shoved it right in there.

Um...what?

I used to use a menstrual cup. It's true that it has a steep learning curve, but it really is the best thing out there. I love going through my day without being confronted with being on your period every time you go to the bathroom. You just empty it in the mornings and before you go to sleep; it's perfect! Never had to buy pads or smuggle them into the bathroom at work anymore. :P

A few months ago I switched my birth control pills for an implanon. I love it because I don't have to remember taking the pill anymore, or stress about forgetting it. I also don't get periods anymore, which I think is the best. I would highly recommend anyone who is deciding on what birth control to take to look into implanon! You have to replace it once every three (3!!!) years. So the rest of the time I don't have to worry about any of that stuff. It's the best!

Well I use pads, but since I'm on the pill I'll go with that. It doesn't stop, but it is very light.

With that said eww what a gross topic >.< lol [if you don't like it, don't click. Titles pretty clear]

What's gross about this topic? I am so done with people treating menstruation as if it's something women shouldn't talk about and should be ashamed of. I mean, I don't need to know the precise details about everyone's flow either, but talking about pads, tampons, and birth control? What's gross about that?

No one is holding you back from talking about it. You shouldn't be ashamed of it.

But it's not the coolest thing in the world

I can't wear a tampon, they hurt. I'm not sure how girls can get that in there, maybe I'm just "small" down there? lol
