Well they were supposed to fight but kurapika sealed away chrollos nen. So they couldn't fight. What if his nen wasn't sealed. Who would win in a battle between Hisoka and Chrollo. I personally think Hisoka cause i like him better and his Bungee gum is also deadly. ho do you think would win?

There's not really anyway to tell who can win right now with the facts provided, but for the shows sake i'll say Hisoka will win because if he dies from Chrollo (Assuming Chrollo kills Hisoka) then that would ruin everything that happened between him and Gon.

Okay, Hisoka might win but the chances are still 50/50 coz like what MagnaAnima said, there's just no way to know with the facts currently provided in the anime. Hisoka has never really fought seriously in the anime too. I remember though, when he was interviewed by Chairman Netero during the Hunter Exam, he had this desire to fight the Chairman but I didn't feel any murderous intent when he said that. He simply wanted to fight, to probably test his own power and see how strong he is but he seemed to know that the Chairman is much stronger than him . On the other hand, when the troupe were having the fortune telling thing at their base, Hisoka directly implied in his thoughts that he wanted to be "the one to kill" Chrollo. Which makes me think that he has this idea that Chrollo may be strong but he is stronger. Like what Machi said during the Heaven's Arena Arc, "he always thinks of himself to be the strongest."

I think Chrollo would probably win and I'm saying this because he was able to stay alive after fighting both Killiaus father and grandfather (which makes me question how long Hisoka would last if he had fought those two) just like the rest of the phantom troupe members we haven't really seen just what Chrollo is capable of.

If just one of the phantom troupe members can summon the sun (Feitan) just imagine what their leader can do .

Ask yourself this question,

"Have we ever seen Hisoka even try to fight like he means it???"
the same question would apply for Chrollo also

Hisoka never showed any signs of weakness, nor was he ever hesitant. During the hunter exam he even wanted to fight Netero more than anyone.

The only ability i'm aware of right now are his bungee gum, his card throwing nen attack (if thats even an ability) and also in episode 3 when he turns one of the contestants hands/arms (possibly more body parts) into flowers (i mean seriously what ability was that?!?!)

I just hope we get to see Hisoka more like how he was in that wild bloodlust state in episode 16 haha

That's true, we don't know much about him or how he fights, the same goes for Chrollo, so it would be impossible to know who would win.
I got to the conclusion that Chrollo would win because we've seen how strong his phantom troupe members are so i'm guessing Chrollo would be even stronger.
Well, that's just me :).

I didn't know that. How about when Hisoka captured the Hemotropic butterfly and multiplied them in his hands in ep 16?
