My Rules Of Life #4- Eat right... excersize... die anyway. Does that give you any insight on my view of gyms? lol

Well everybody dies, but the gym is where you can try to become legend. When people like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne the Rock Johnson die they will be remembered as titans among men who always strived for the epitome of their genetic blueprint. The hope of climbing that mountain to stand with them is plenty motivation to look past the inevitable.

But SUCH a waste of perfectly good energy. Energy that could be used for... well...the possibilities are endless. My personal favorite...

WATCHING ANIME IN COMPLETE RELAXATION!!! lmao

Omg, our gym got closed down because of the government shutdown, civilian workers got furloughed so now we don't have gym staff and it can't stay open. UGHHHHHHHHHHH

Conversely, I could say the same thing about how just relaxing is a waste of potential energy, of which an individual has enough of to equal fifty hydrogen bombs. Not only is there that, but the gym also contains the main theme of human evolution- the struggle. Every time someone enters the gym, a challenge is presented, and when that challenge is overcome, more plates are added in the hopes of eventually overcoming the new challenge. Human evolution was defined by an endless struggle, and even in modern times, who are we to forget what it took to overtake the planet and why we seek new challenges among the stars?

I work out at home regularly using my own bodyweight and occasional household furniture as equipment. After 2 hard years i now consider myself in "very very good shape". My main motivation is simply thinking "I do NOT want to lose to any riajuu. i will NOT lose to any riajuu!". Especially one's that put no effort into having a happy fulfilling life. damn the riajuu!

Well I have to use the gym and weight program for my sport in college (T&F) but motivation is: never quit no matter how hard the task may get. Though you may hate it now, it will pay off in the long run.
