Jealous. I think they look great on a lot of people, but my sight doesn't require them.

When i see someone with glasses, i think they look something like No but seriously, if i see someone with glasses I usually think of them as being more intelligent than the average bear.

If they wear sunglasses at night into a bar, I think they are stupid. Otherwise, regular glasses tend to make people look smarter.

I wear Glasses, because If I didn't, your words would be a bit of a blur to me, I could still read it but I'd rather see clearly, people shouldn't judge others just because they wear glasses, Not all people who wear glasses are nerdy, nor are those who wear them strange, nor those who wear the ones that turn into sunglasses it may be part of the perscription.

GayAsianBoy, there are contacts so some can see and it doesn't change the way they look outwardly, But if you have a society that treats those with blue eyes and blond hair, that require that one color their hair black and wear contacts that make you look like someone your not just to get employment, something is seriously wrong there.

I know people shouldn't judge others just because they wear glasses, I wear glasses myself so I'm not judging anybody and I know the pain you're trying to express about having people not assume about others based on appearances.

However, I feel like culture, a change in society and maybe human nature has shaped people's view of what a person is based on their eye wear, if you think about it everyone assumes on some things during situations.

(like you just did now, with assuming I didn't wear glasses based off my question... well that's the impression I got from your statement however maybe you just want to commentate on the situation at hand to everyone, not me or maybe I'm assuming stuff again to fit my ideal argument)

Making it inevitable to have everyone not assume certain things.

It's impossible, I don't know the reason why, maybe it's a psychology/brain thing but it'll always happen and we can't stop it.

Since I used to wear glasses (now contacts) I don't really get any different impressions than I do of ppl without.
Although back then I used to be jealous because they looked different in a good way. I wanted to wear glasses too so I watched tv a lot and studied in a dim lighted room.
Plan suceeded apparently

I have huge glasses that mother used to wear when she was in high school I only wear them when I can't see something or when I'm driving. I figured it's kinda pointless and a waste of money to get glasses of my own if their is a pair of glasses my mother doesn't even use anymore and they are actually glasses I can see through. If people think I look funny with them on, fine... but it saved me from having to spend like 100 $ to get my own.

I look at others who wear glasses as people who wants to see..

This. Unless they're 'hipster' glasses, which give me the impression of someone trying to look smarter. 'Looking smart' is a pretty weird concept, and I think it's unethical to try and use the 'people with glasses are smart' stereotype to one's social advantage.

Well since I wear glasses, when I see others wearing glasses I think that they obviously need them to see. Also it makes people look more intelligent aswell.

My, this isn't my house.

As a glasses wearer....yeah, I don't really pay attention to glasses a whole lot. But it can make some girls look cuter.

Now that's an interesting thought.

Well, I've always been more attracted to girls that I've seen wearing glasses occasionally. I think it accentuates beauty through intelligence. I love looking into directly, so glasses aren't my favorite thing; but there is something about a girl who has to wear glasses when she's reading. Looking smart and pretty is better than having curves.

Also Ponytails.

As I'm actually wearing glasses I don't really pay attention, when seeing other people wearing them.
It can make people look more intelligent indeed (and most people look really good with glasses), but it also can enhance the facial structure. If you know what I mean.
My thoughts are different though, when I see people like my younger sister wearing enormous glasses with plain glass in them... just to look #hipster. haha. Then I sometimes wish they'd have reaaaaaaaal bad eyes, just to experience what it's like to wear real ones instead of plain glass specs, which they just can take off whenever they want.
