blah blah blah

Strange that the Tissot cost less.

A year of inflation maybe? The Seiko really is a pretty sharp watch in person, and has the things you'd expect from the price range -- sapphire crystal, sturdy construction, reliable movement. Plus, I know the Tissot was definitely at the lower end of their catalog. That said, I'll probably never completely understand watch pricing anyway.

I won a piece of jade appraised at $20k which I had made into a Buddha, but other than that my bling comes in the form of watches.

Glad to see another watch man on here. My favorites are my Movado Certa

I have a friend who mocks me saying, "What's the matter, couldn't afford the numbers?" but screw her, it's a sexy ass watch and I love the clasp.

And my Burberry Nova Heritage

Could use an easier claps, but still a great watch.

The first watch I ever bought was a Skagen

So it'll always be special to me.

My mum has a lot of gold, and she's had necklaces made of some of her old gold things made for me...(Which I never use, as I'm not a jewelry girl whatsoever).

I used to wear some silver rings that had some semi-precious stones in them, still have them. The cream of the crop would be a silver ring with a very nice lapis lazuli stone, probably worth $60 maybe; bought it in Cozumel, Mexico (very good place to buy this kinda stuff if you don't care about brands), no brand name attached. I have a few other things I found on ebay, a nice little yellow jade pendant featuring a snake, and a bracelet of red agate. If I ever found a silver ring of good quality featuring a red (favorite color) semi-precious stone, I might wear some of the other stuff again on occasion.

Looking forward to the day when I can afford a well-crafted automatic and all the anime I want. Why are my hobbies so damn expensive?

I wear watches mostly. I have a silver cross on a silver necklace, but always tuck it into my shirt. Never actually understood why people wear them on display, but that's a story for another day.
