anime will never end all that will change is the median in which it arrives soon there will be 3d anime then who knows maybe eventually we will jack our minds into a machine that allow us to interect inside an anime and have direct control of the story be in the middle of it as a character anime will just get new updates to the way it is drawn like the difference between 2001+ anime and 90s anime totally difference type of artwork it will keep going for aslong as children are born

I don't think the "end of anime" is near, all it takes is one artist to come up with something ground breaking to set a whole series of wheels in motion, something like the next Astro Boy or Mobile Suit Gundam level anime.
I very much doubt anime will ever truly disappear, It still ranks pretty high as one of Japan's top exports and there seems to be an ever growing market for it over here in North America. As long as future generations are brought up watching the classics; Astro Boy, DragonBall, Evangelion, there will be drive to create more.

Considering it's been around in some form for nearly 100 years and keeps gaining popularity, I don't see it ending anytime soon. The art of animation itself keeps improving and will continue to improve.

I see anime actually ending anytime soon. On the net you won't be able to read Manga anymore on famous sites like Onemanga, I think Mangafox will follow soon, and other manga sites too. After the Manga's are all gone from the net, they'll strike on Anime.

Well due that many, many, many people like anime, i guess it's going to stay around for like a long time. But if anime is going to be gone, there's always somebody who can make a new series. Bad or not, it's still anime! XD
