this post makes me want to cry...
Anime has no reason to end. As long as it sells, it will be made.
It'll continue to be recycled to death. The movie and music industry does it, so why shouldn't anime?
The point that anime will become a "relic" is simply bizarre (especially in 50 years? Where do you get this?.) Anime and manga has been with us for a long time, so there's no reason for why it should come to an end.

I don't believe the end of Anime is near.
I see more Manga lovers than I ever have, more cosplayers, Pax,and Sakura Con are getting bigger and bigger, and whoever isn't at Sakura Con is at Norwest Con dressed as their favorite Anime character!
This is me just looking up and out of my window!
It's great!
