Is crunchyroll low on money because this seems like the bottom of the barrel type of anime shows they're acquiring this fall the only ones I have qued are kill la kill because gurren lagaan is one of my favorite shows, and samurai Flamenco. Now onto bottom bitting bug why does this even get a second season?

We're also excited to announce Galilei Donna, launching on Thursday, October 10, at 11:00am Pacific Time, available to members in U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Central and South America including Caribbean, Europe (including Scandinavia and French-speaking and German-speaking territories).

The link up there is missing "d" in url so it links to 404.

And is Europe "(including Scandinavia and French-speaking and German-speaking territories)" means that only these territories are included? It's RR for me, that's why i'm asking. I hope it's just a case of not finished settings of IP addresses.

Bottom Biting Bug also shows "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region."
Edit. Or wait, the RR info for BBB is because season 1 is not available.

I think it means only French, German speaking territories and Scandinavia,

Anyway, thank you CR for 2 new adds for my country.

Btw. Do Diabolic lovers has new territories? Because it's suddenly appeared in shows available to watch.

Most of the announced simulcasts so far have been direct licenses(from Japan). Only the Aniplex stuff really counts as sublicensed(and possibly Diabolik Lovers).

The "big" shows of the Fall would be sublicenses, and those usually get announced later(and KuroBas 2 is obvious enough that they can wait for it, same with Teekyu 3).

As to Bottom Biting Bug, that was NHK's call and I am not going to complain about it.

I see this type of message every season at the beginning of the announcements. People expect CR to announce what they think are their pick for the best of the season first, when the reality is it is primarily determined by what contract negotiations are completed first.

CR doesn't "pick" anime, so naturally there will be some you might consider "bottom of the barrel", but it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that those are easier to license.

Keep in mind that home video still beats streaming in revenue, so when it comes down to it, Funimation can still beat CR when bidding for a title they plan to license for home video out of the gate (as opposed to taking the "wait and see approach", of licensing only streaming).

Frankly, the biggest boost to CR getting what is typically perceived as "good" titles was when they worked out the deal with Sentai, since that brings home video licensing money into the bid equation.

Nice to see we get some shows to my region. Thanks Crunchyroll. Shame about Meganebu though.

Pupa may not be available for simulcast this season. It is listed as a Nico Nico series, and those have typically not been available for simulcast until they air on TV, which more often than not has been the next season.

It looks like the only one I really want to watch so I am really disappointed that you won't stream it in England

Since Aniplex announced early things are a bit jumbled, but normally the direct licenses are announced first and the sub-licenses are announced later on, so the most widely anticipated shows tend to be announced toward the end of the announcement week.

But Aniplex decided to announce a week early, and since they said that Crunchyroll had the series, Crunchyroll went ahead and announced those. If Aniplex had waited until Friday, Crunchyroll probably would have announced everything except Diabolik (which broadcast early) at the Atlanta con.

More than anything, I hope CR gets "Little Busters: Refrain". I've been looking forward to watching it ever since it was announced. Also finished the VN in that timeframe too lol.

Gallilei Donna looks interesting. I'm gonna add that to the queue. I'll probably check out Walkure Romanze too. This season is looking a little empty for me unfortunately.

Never judge a season until a week into the broadcast season itself, which would be Monday next week.

Unless of course you are judging it empty based on the list of all series being broadcast ... but even then, I find that the descriptions of series often do not do justice to the better series.

I would say two weeks as several shows do not start next week.

Miss Monochrome, Copellion and Ghaist Crusher are coming up soon but anything Funimation gets may be announced late.
