doesn't really matter, one way or the other. when it all comes down to it, they're just TV shows, and we're just consumers with opinions, and everyone knows that old adage about opinions.

opinions are like assholes. everyone's got one, and they're all full of shit.

I never understood why some people feel the need to laude their shit like it's actually important to someone other than themselves.

I just love SAO. I stopped watching AoT on episode 8 I think. I need to catch up. I didn't like it a lot, however it wasn't bad.

AoT no doubt but SAO was alright...

AOT doesn't time skip like crazy between each episode like SAO. But I can't say that AOT's concept is any good because it isn't, it's in fact quite awful, whereas SOE's concept is epic, end of discussion.

Definitely Attack on Titan. Every single aspect of Attack on Titan was spot on amazing. I was constantly on the edge of my seat after each episode and I did my best to not get spoiled by manga readers on Tumblr because I was that in love with the story. I'm not going to go into detail with it because I believe it speaks for itself.

I have a love/hate relationship with SAO. I overall liked the show. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. However, to me, the show had so much wasted potential. I LOVED how it started out because personally, I am a gamer. I LOVE RPG's. So I instantly fell in love with the show after the first couple of episodes. The idea of being trapped in a virtual role-playing gaming is hardly an original idea, but I felt that it had a strong start. The thing though is, to me, the show fell flat. It was a show that I loved on my first time viewing it, but when I spent time thinking about the aspects and viewing it a second time, I started noticing problems with the show that I didn't initially notice.

There were too many time-skip no believable or good character development, and none of the characters were really deep. At first, Asuna started out as a Grade-A badass, but she pretty much loses that aspect of her character and just becomes nothing more than the major love interest. Later she just gets sidelined anyways. I thought Kirito was kind of cool in how he was the OP protagonist who does a lot of level grinding and just do his own thing. I liked that aspect of his character, but that being said, his overall personality is pretty bland and nothing special. Most of the other characters can be entertaining in ways, but none of them are so special that you get deeply engrossed into their character or deeply care about them.

I liked the concept of the second half, but I didn't really like the execution. Plus the whole aspect with Suguha was AWKWARD. Personally, I feel like the show would have been better if it stuck with Sword Art Online and didn't go with ALfheim Online. I think it would have been better if they spent more time giving certain characters more depth (especially Akihiko Kayaba) , less time-skips, and maybe spend the last few episodes showing the lives Kirito, Asuna and the other characters like Klein and Agil post-SAO. Mainly, I'd like to see Kirito and Asuna being in a relationship in the real world.

Now that I got my more than 2 cents out there, SAO is an enjoyable show to watch. It has fantastic art, animation, and an awesome soundtrack. My problem with it, is that I see the characters and story as more or less shallow. I personally believe that it had some of the best potential of any show in my recent memory, but I believe that it fell flat on it's face. It is by no means a bad show, but it's downfalls keep it from being an amazing or great show, and just keeps it at being a good show.

SAO and AoT are both ultra-hyped shows, but I feel like Attack on Titan lives up to the hype and then some, while SAO falls short.

I hope I won't get flamed for this. XD
