Doesn't the RSS region list only show up when there's at least one video? Given that the list repeats itself for each video in the page...

That's what I was saying ~ without the ability to doublecheck from an RSS region restriction list, I understand the concern about the contract wording.

But the contract wording says Europe ... the "including" stuff is just stressing that those countries are not left out.

Oh, sorry. By "no region restrictions list set up," I thought you meant "not configured yet" as opposed to "not visible yet."

That seems to me the only logical interpretation, though I always keep expecting the worst, as it wouldn't be the first time I'd see a series announced here and then removed a few days later (I remember Space Brothers).

Sadly, as Full Metal Alchemist has taught us about equivalent trade, Ace of the Diamond is now World ex-Asia instead of World ex-Japan for premium members :(

I didn't watch more than one episode of full metal alchemist but what its saying is that Ace of Diamonds is now restricted from the rest of Asia instead of just Japan.

But normally, if there is a difference between the entry in the database and the announcement language, they fix up the database after its reported in Help/Feedback. The reason is that the region list in the announcement is taken straight out of the contract.

The biggest reason a term specified in the contract would be invalid is if there is a previously signed contract that contradicts it. That can happen if there are different people doing the negotiations for different licensees and there's a failure of communication.

Nothing can be done about that, unless the original licensee is willing to budge, since the first contract signed has priority.

Canadian Viz customers should write them and ask them to stream it on Crunchyroll too.

"ex-" mean "excluding". It was originally announced as streaming Free to a set of countries, and available to Premium members everywhere outside Japan ("ex-Japan"). Instead, it is streaming Free to that same set of countries and available to Premium members everywhere outside of Asia (the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania).

At least it'll be a legal stream. Thanks for posting that up, though. Otherwise, I'd probably just have been wondering what happened to it. xD

Let's be honest though: even better news is that there are now more new slots for shows.

Please, please, please get Nagi no Asukara. If I have to watch it with ads on Hulu, I think I will cry.

Really excited for Golden Time. Now I'm just hoping for Little Busters Refrain, Blazblue, and Yozakura Quartet.

As normal this early in the process, but yes, one more box and they have 30 simulcasts this season.

If CR gets it, it would almost certainly be in cooperation with Sentai, and I don't believe we've seen any of those simulcasts yet (there are usually several).

Keep in mind that even with the original series, TAN was late in announcing and starting their simulcast (the first time they had been at that point), so history might repeat itself here on CR.

I don't see Sentai passing up licensing it, since the first series apparently performed well for them, and as TAN hasn't been in the simulcast game for a while now, that leaves CR as the obvious outlet.

Still need another 4 or 5 shows announced for simulcasting, so far I've only got Valvrave, Kill La Kill and Gingitsune.

Come on CR, please deliver on something big tomorrow. I need a Kyoukai no Kanata or Ars Nova or Nagi no Asukara desperately. Surely the last one should be in the bag... Although you didn't even touch RDG so I'm worried Funi's gonna grab exclusivity instead,

This is an incredibly solid fall season that I want to make CR my one stop shop for.

I mean come on, you're buddies with Toei, couldn't we get a Kyousougiga announcement already?

Kyoukai no Kanata is most likely a TBS series, so it's likely to pop up on CR along with Outbreak Company.
