You guys got Kyoukai no Kanata?

HOOOOOLLLLYYYY SHHHIII.......WHOA!!!

I thought you guys getting "Free" was just a fluke, but now it finally looks like you guys are getting simulcasts of KyoAni shows. Good job finally getting Kyoto Animation on board with the streaming. Thanks a bunch Crunchy! Hope this continues!!

Might be Sentai still does not like Latin America ~ I've seen someone speculate at ANN that this might be a Sentai license, and AFAIR they have picked up TBS titles before.

Of course, we'll have to wait until Sentai completes their main licensing announcements to sort out whether its the licensor or a home video licensee that's the hold-up.

If it is a Sentai sub-license (no way to tell right now, of course), those have normally included North America, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and South Africa at best, which has been a big notch out of the rest of the world streaming rights for the rest of the world for several years now.

But with Crunchyroll recently having particular success with direct licensing for Latin America, its been most noticeable for Latin America.

Why in the heck did you go to check the page when it says in the announcement that its North American and Australia only? That doesn't make much sense. I mean, its literally the next line after the link that you used to "check the page".

Hey Guys,

lugiamania here with another new Fall 2013 title today! Crunchyroll will be airing the new Kyoto Animation title Beyond the Boundary TOMORROW, Wednesday October 2, at 9:30am Pacific Time.

Beyond the Boundary will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in North America and Australia.

I could understand that behavior back three or four years ago when they used to hide the region below the splash image and announcement series description, but it seems like when its right up front, you just wanted to have the experience of getting the "not in your region" message.

All I wanted to see this season was Kill la Kill, Samurai Flamenco, Beyond the Boundary, and Pupa. And Crunchyroll isn't bringing any of those to UK .

Anime limited (all the anime (not AoD)) are announcing a simulcast title soon I believe, so we might be able to get one or 2 of them atleast

There is very little doubt it's a Sentai title.
Every TBS anime currently on CR (minus this since it hasn't been announced yet) is a Sentai title.
And they have licensed every anime title that TBS has held the international license for every season since early/mid 2011.

The chances that some else (or no one) other than Sentai has this title is beyond slim at this point.

If that will be the case, might as well cancel my premium subscription with Crunchy for the time being. I see no use in it for this half-assed season.

Yeah, if all you wanted to see were three series that won't be available to the UK at Crunchyroll, and one that might not be licensed for streaming at all until next season, there's be a bit of sense to that.

Guess I'll cash in my free trial sometime today so I can be all ready for KLK tomorrow.

I'll be watching Golden Time I suppose. Will be nice to see a college setting in anime. I guess I have to watch KnK too, even though I'm not a fan of KyoAni, hate the designs, and the initial premise sounds distinctly like Bakemonogatari.
