Honestly for a series that so casually kills off characters,

With the exception of that though, Akame vs. Esdeath was fucking dope and well worth the wait. Excited to see the wrap up.

In all honesty I think Takahiro changed it after all the negative feedback after it happened in the Anime, and since

It still has the same effect.

I actually dont know how i feel about the manga ending... i kinda prefer the anime ending with some of the manga endings intertwined in it.
honestly might buy the anime over the manga series.

I would really love to see that, but as you say, is unlikely to happen.

Was happy to see that it finally ended and it ended well. I think it tied up all of the loose ends and actually left us with a happy ending.

Felt a bit more thought out than the anime ending which I can really appreciate. I can also appreciate the full punishment to the old regime, that was also more satisfying.

Yep totally pleased with how it ended.

Everything was wrapped up rather nicely.

Yen Press is past the halfway point in publishing the English version of the manga (Vol. 9 ships this month January 2017) so around the end of next year they'll be done as well.

I have mixed feelings about the ending.

Like we have the fate of the prime minister, which was exactly as gruesome as I expect from this manga and was extremely satisfying, but then we have goofy stuff like

Ultimately I really liked Akame's wrap up the best and it really felt appropriate for the series. I'm still standing by the author changing
after the backlash from everyone dying in the anime. Oh well, still a very enjoyable manga that I am very much glad I read.

This manga as a whole is craptacular if you ask me.

What a load of edgy shit.

I was kind of disgusted of what the rebels did to Honesty, despite him being a rapist, a murderer, and being responsible for the suffering of everyone in the land. I cannot really justify this cruelty as the paradigm of justice for am empire that views itself as such, especially when you are executing a child due to what can be amounted to "mob rule".
